I don't know why anyone would want to put something cold on hot (just prepared, fresh outta the oven) food. Thats wierd. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 14:35:34 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/why_why_why_ooh_this_bugs_me 329994 Re: How to get over a fruit and vegetable phobia? I kind of understand how you feel. I will not eat ANY fresh fruit that my mom, and my mom alone, has not washed. I am not the person who eats fruit from the fruit platter that has been sitting out in a room all day, that is just nasty. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 14:35:01 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/fruit_and_vegetable_phoebia 329992 Re: What are filling low calorie foods? How low calorie do you want? I'm vegetarian too and I like: For Meals: Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones have roasted veggie and 4 cheese pizzas that taste GREAT, and they all are low cal (310-360) and 5-7g of fat. That is a great thing to eat ALONE for lunch. Very low cal meal. ...Also Lean Pockets 4 Cheese Pizza Pockets have 7g of fat and 300 cals. Another good choice alone for a meal. mock meats (Morningstar chick patties, corn dogs, grillers), with hamburger buns They aren't low carb, but that doesn't really matter if they are all low fat and low cal. veggie sushi, rice, miso soup, roasted potatoes with a little olive oil and seasoning, grilled cheese sandwich (whole grain w/ 2% lowfat cheese...about 250 cals, and if you want to put a little margarine or butter on the bread, that's about 350 cals.) Subway veggie sub w/ cheese, (around 350 cals) Snack/ Meal: Oatmeal (130), 90 Cal Quaker Chewey Granola Bars, bananna w/ a little bit of peanut butter, tortilla chips (a few) and salsa, Lesser Evil Choco & Kettle popcorn, fat free pudding. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 14:30:21 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/low_calorie_food 329985 Re: Hardest junk food to stay away from? Sonic's Reese's blast with xtra Reese's, and french fries. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 14:16:50 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/junk_food_5109 329967 Re: Do you like mcdonalds? McDonald's is nasty. They have so few menu choices, (I don't eat meat), it's sad. They have good Sweet Tea and the oreo McFlurry is good. But that's about it. The fries are nasty, and the burgers looks like someone has already chewed them up. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 14:14:26 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/do_you_like_mcdonald´s 329965 Re: Will having sex for the first time hurt? He sounds like a controlling man. DO NOT let ANYONE tell you who to hang out with and what to wear. How DARE HE!!! Do not justify his controlling you. You are your OWN person and do not ever let a man take that from you. Just because he does not hit you, doesn't mean that he is not hurting you still. Controlling someone is never okay. Even if it is telling you what to wear or who to hang out with. You seem to have lost yourself, because you are justifying what he is doing to you. Why did you ask the question if you had already made up your mind about it? Did you need validation for deciding that your husband controlling you was okay? nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 14:09:21 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/just_wondering_956 329958 Re: What are doing about global warming? I don't eat meat (methane from cow farts is bad for the enviornment, and the pollution from the transport vehicles make for a lot of smog), I use biodegradable household products, I recycle, cut down on paper usage, I don't drink bottled water as often as possible, and I drive a fuel effiecent car (07 Accord). nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 14:04:37 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_are_doing_about_global_warming 329952 Re: What's your favorite ice cream flavor? We don't live on the frontier. We don't have to hunt for food. We have things called grocery stores. Considering a dog is of the same intelligence as a 4 year old child, I would say that that is very possible. Dogs will love anyone who is nice to them, and takes care of them. Most dogs will even love their abusive, irrisponsible owners anyways. A dogs love...or any animal for that matter is the purest, most unconditional love you will ever find. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 13:43:41 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/can_dogs_love_their_owner 329924 Re: Why are my kittens dead? Yes, mother cats will kill their young if something is wrong with them; survival of the fittest. Your cat shouldn't be giving birth anyways, she should be fixed! nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 13:41:59 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/why_are_my_kittens_dead 329921 Re: How to help my dying puppies? Because science just made too much sense!! Plus all religions were thought up by someone. Someone made all this crap up. Romans, Greeks, Sumerians, Egyptians, etc. all had religions that believed in sevral gods, and were the dominant religion for THOUSANDS of years. They are all gone now, and Christianity shuns multiple gods, but has not been around for even half as long as some of the other religions. Christianity, and everything else is just a fad. In 200 years, if this planet isn't a block of ice from from global warming, stupid people will be worshiping something else. Also religious people annoy me with their constant hypocracy. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 13:39:34 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_made_you_convert_from_religion 329918 Re: Could a vegetarian eat naturally laid eggs? NO!!! NO!! NO!!! Lacto-oval vegetarians drink milk, and eat eggs. Plain old vegetarians DO NOT EAT EGGS! Do not listen to these people. a lot of idiots also think that vegetarians also eat fish and white meat. That is wrong too! NO FOOD WITH A FACE...or that would eventually hatch and have a face!!! nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 13:34:31 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/vegetarian_7451 329912 Re: How hard is it to go vegetarian? To be honest; it's not easy at times. We live in a world that is catered to people who eat meat; as they are the majority. But it doesn't matter, if you REALLY want to go veg, you will. You will get frustrated when you go out to SOME resturants...but oh well. There are still lots of things to eat, none of which are fatty nasty dead animal flesh. Japanese, Thai, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Italian, fast food, etc, all have nice vegetarian options, most of which you can customize to leave out the meat. Mock meat tastes great! Morningstar, Loma Linda, Yves, etc. all have delicious substitues. Once you go vegetarian you will feel so much better, feel less weighed down. Feeling bloated after eating a meal will be a thing of the past. You will have more energy, you skin will look better, and your colon won't have 10 lbs or rotting meat sitting in it. It is better for you, animals, and your conceince. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 13:28:14 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/how_hard_is_it_to_go_vegaterain 329905 Re: Any vegetarians out there? blff, as evolution intended? Uh..okay. You aren't a vegetarian, so why are you posting? The question wasn't "Any dead-carcass eating people out there?" I've been vegan for 4 years, vegetarian for 12!! nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 13:19:57 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/any_vegetarians_out_there 329891 Re: Why don't vegans eat animal products? You can be vegan for sevral reasons, some of which are: 1. You want nothing to do with the animal cruelty. Buy buying silk, wool, leather, meat, dairy, honey,---ANYTHING that has animal produducts or has been tested on animals, you are supporting the cruel and horrible businesses that torture animals. 2. You want to be healthy. High-protein things like red meat do not get fully digested and stay in your colon. Meat and dairy are extremely fatty foods. Your body runs better without them. I don't know of any other animal that drinks the milk of another animal, not of it's own species. 3. You have a concience. 4. You love and care for all living creatures. Those are the reasons I became vegan! b1ff, it doesn't matter...a dead animal is a dead animal. There is no nice way to kill anything. Roaming around in a pasture for 3 years before you are brutally slaughtered doesn't make much of a difference in the end. nkg76 Tue, 29 Apr 2008 13:15:23 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/vegan 329883
