Hi goodgirl124, Thats a very useful question you asked. In fact its one of the important utilities provided in the word processor which is most often use .. The outline feature helps you to focus on the main idea of the project (or document) you are working on rather than working on the details from the start. After you open an empty document, click on view tab and select the outline view from the menu. Then you have a set of heading to be put in different levels for the headings (you can choose from the drop down menus) and once you are done click on the view tab again and choose print layout to view your headings come out in an order. This will help you focus and organize your thoughts first before you work on the details (outline first)...Alternately this can be used to view the document heading structure (which headings are in which level and so on)... hope this helps. stay beautiful, motowin motowin Sun, 22 Jun 2008 07:04:41 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/how_to_use_outline_in_microsoft_word 393867 Re: Website more information about the tools you are using is required before I can say something. motowin Sun, 22 Jun 2008 06:55:59 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/website_90149 393859 Re: The Program I cant get rid of As for the original question by josh. You have come up with an important point. To uninstall IE do as follows: 1). Go to control panel (you can find it in the start menu) 2). Click on add or remove progams. 3). In the ensuing window there is a panel to your left. Find the item add or remove windows components. A new window will open up called windows xp setup (windows component wizard) 4). In the new window, choose IE and uncheck it. Then click on finish. motowin Sun, 22 Jun 2008 06:50:45 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/the_program_i_cant_get_rid_of 393852 Re: Summer time? There is a period of activity in an individual's life followed by a period of inactivity and so on. Its wisest to use the inactivity period in the best possible way. If I were you, I would keep a focus on my mind and body together :D:D:D I would choose activities which help both of them grow and relax. The choices for these are individual based. I would choose to complete reading a fine novel/ science book together with a regular workout plan (summer is the best time to lose those unwanted pounds) and some sport (like swimming, athletics) which would keep me active and engaged. I would prefer not to stick to TV or any of those dormant activities :):D Bask the luxurious warmth =D Enjoy motowin Sat, 14 Jun 2008 10:38:29 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/summer_time 383134 Re: How do I prevent razor burn? you may also want to check on the razor too..some people are sometimes sensitive to those deep cutting ones.. motowin Fri, 13 Jun 2008 10:58:06 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/razor_burn 382196 Re: What is MTV? As technologies scale processor speeds there has been an observation made. The processors can computer faster than before. However the bus speeds and memory access speeds are the bottlenecks which keep the processor waiting. On the other hand, lots of memory is also not useful always unless you would be using your computer at its 100% capacity all the time (unlikely). I would suggest. - processor speeds are important. But after a while they become "not very useful". So, go for a faster processor but if you are getting a good deal for a processor with a slightly lower speed (frequency), go for it. Similar is the case with RAMs. Choose a RAM like 1-2 GB which is sufficient for most office/home needs these days. The investment you make on higher amounts of RAM may only be useful if you use your pc as explained earlier. As an addendum., a more important thing to worry about may be the processor cache. This is local memory to the processor. An optimum cache is essential for smooth working. A very low/ high amount of memory here would not be very suitable. I would suggest 1-2MB of cache which is pretty common these days. It helps a lot. motowin Tue, 08 Apr 2008 02:43:35 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/processor_speed_or_ram 302494 Re: Fitness question to reduce your weight while not adding fat you need to increase your protein intake and reduce you fat intake (if you are having a heavy intake). Since you C-c C-v..I have also taken my privilege :).thanks to good ol funadvice again. Quote from "http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_there_a_god" ***You havent said anything about the scientific evidence. Why?*** ...why should I? Science can't DISPROVE God's existence, no more than that book can PROVE God's existence. motowin says :: Play it even. If you can't disprove with more credibility than the proof, I would see more logical in going with the favored scale. Choose your side. No issues. Its a free world. After all its you who are responsible for yourself and no one has that responsibility to "make you believe !". The job is to only convey the message / discuss the idea I have another nice plan. If you can't disprove with more credibility than proof, I would say, play it safe. Believe. If you find out that there is God in the end, you'll be saved. If there isn't one. You have nothing to lose :) isn't it just like a game now.. lol..Thats what many have been doing. motowin Thu, 24 Jan 2008 19:01:43 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_god_real 199391 Re: Is GOD real? Thats a nice excerpt. But Irrelevant. I am not arguing about those points or in that thread.. Just advising on the questions you asked and the question in this thread.. I do believe in the big-bang. Evolution ? hmm..I still have my doubts !! These arguments only make my faith stronger that God IS there for a long time even before anything was created and knows a lot more than we mortals do !! Nevertheless. we could also look at this question from another cute angle. Why is God not real or more crisply put :: Q. prove me that there is no God ? :) oh btw...I wanted to share an interesting article I read at a nuclear physics institute recently (but I don't remember it completely though) - Light has a finite velocity of travel and it has been able to travel to only an extent through the Universe. Thats why we are able to see the Universe up to only a few exponential light years and we have not seen its farthest limit (termination point) .. and light is still traveling and newer and newer things are being brought to our (minute :)) understanding. There were nice illustrations there. very good. motowin Thu, 24 Jan 2008 18:50:00 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_god_real 199354 Re: Is GOD real? Q23). thekangaroo says: ""Why did God create humans intellectually superior yet we say all God's 'children' are equal? "" thekangaroo also says:: "" .. but he created every other animal inferior .."" - This is my personal favorite. I avoided picking on it earlier, but if you want it here you go. God created humans intellectually superior but hey where did the animals come from ? I thought children meant only humans !! I can now advice one thing (not judge you as usual :)) .. If you make your questions more sensible and understandable, its would be easy for people to understand. Right >>> now, ask this question to a layman on the street and ask him what do you mean by "children". I got the answers from this experiment I conducted on some people around me. They all said that children means humans. Hence in my previous answer I was trying to explain the equality in humans. Nevertheless, since you have asked, equality as I already mentioned means equality in the "sight of God". Hence [QED] xOx motowin Thu, 24 Jan 2008 01:36:24 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_god_real 198397 Re: Is GOD real? Q2. thekangaroo says about God's will:: ""I suppose it is, but I cannot imagine what god would create his beings to do one thing then tell them they are wrong."" - You don't need to exercise your imagination here. God may have created his beings to do one thing but has not forced them to do that. As I already explained He has given us a thing called freewill. It is all just like a test. God is omnipotent and He could have created perfect beings. But He did not create perfect beings (read your question again). The scheme is like this - He create human beings, gave them time to operate (freewill) and is seeing which one's do "the one thing". I'll try to explain it simply - Its like in a system design. You have the power to create the most complex, perfect automobile engine. But you don't do it (you are potent here). You create designs with some engines better in mileage, some better in speed and some in acceleration. Then you put them to test in a ground. You then choose the best one which suits your criterion (You are potentate here but you dont create perfect engines. Its your will) motowin Thu, 24 Jan 2008 01:28:49 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_god_real 198393 Re: Is GOD real? Q4). I was answering considering that you were refererring to the relationship between Adam and Eve (Eve's creation from the rib thing). Anyway thats not the point I guessed. But it wasn't clear from your question. In any case, this is an absurd relationship. Incest is a definition which needs clarification. Think about it. As we are all children of Adam we are all commiting incest isn't it ? Well no. What I can suggest is that there is a bloodline of generation which is used to define incest. It fades into infinitesimality over time and with reducing people. If I would quantify it, I would make it an exponential relationship as follows: Let, o I = Incest factor o G = generations backwards from your current geneality (G belongs to Z+). o P = Population iterator (universal growh factor - belongs to Z+ again). o Y = Years from the time of Adam (again belongs to Z+). Then, I = A + Bexp(CY/GP) (A, B and C are some scaling constants) You may want to add more parameters/constants to scale this. We may want to use this factor to define incest. Hence in summary, to "keep it simple and stupid - KISS" I would say that it was not incest which was being committed at that time. There is also an alternate solution to the above question as you may consider very favorably as an atheist- very simply assume that Adam did not exist at all and people were created out of the blue as a bunch and they grew their own families separately. Still the question remains, we don't know which family we belong to at this time and we may be committing incest. motowin Thu, 24 Jan 2008 01:15:20 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_god_real 198387 Re: Is GOD real? I don't want to unnecessarily argue over this and make it personal. I have said what I had to say. But since you have asked, I'll give some clarification: Q1). My answer was that its not only me, but even you or anyone else for that matter cannot have an answer to that question - if you think logic, God was created first and no one has spoken to God and hence don't know the answer. I have understood your question. But I am trying to say that no one can have an answer to that based on the above logic. Hence there is no point searching for an answer to that. motowin Thu, 24 Jan 2008 00:54:44 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_god_real 198369 Re: Is GOD real? @thekangaroo: ""perhaps this is similar to the way you do not understand other belief systems and still insist you are right"" - Still insist that I am right !! blow me down. I never told you to accept my words. Just my opinion (advice) isnt it. Think before you accuse someone so brusquely. - Similar to the way I dont understand other belief systems - I have been talking about only atheism isn't it ?? Where did the other belief systems come from and how can you say that I don't understand other belief systems ?? Think about it friend. You making this statement can only make people think that you dont think !! isn't it. But I wouldn't make such such a statement as I don't believe in judging people. motowin Thu, 24 Jan 2008 00:45:52 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_god_real 198359 Re: Is GOD real? @thekangaroo: ""if someone can legitimately answer these questions without using the bible, I will believe in god"" - Honestly I don't care. I don't have a problem with someone believing or not. I am all cheers with everyone :) But my answers above were funadvices. I was trying to logically help. I am sorry to say that I am not an expert. But I can give you some advice as a friend. Yes. But its nice to discuss the answers. So lets share. motowin Thu, 24 Jan 2008 00:36:14 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_god_real 198355
