Some shades of brown will look nice too. You don't say what shade of red your hair is, if it's a light, gingery red; thick black eyeliner and eyeshadows might look too overpowering. I'd use a greyish blue shade, the grey of it will look gothic and blue of it will go with your eyes. Maybe even use blue mascara to look a little different. Brands like Benefit, Mac, Lancome and No.7 etc are some of the best. But these are fairly expensive so for everyday wear I'd recommend Rimmel: It's not too expensive and is fairly good quality.
