FunAdvice Advice from: kgoins17 http://www.funadvice.com/my/advice/kgoins17 I am originally from Baton Rouge, La. I mainly miss my favorite people including my sister and my three "best" friends. Speaking of missing of people my boyfriend just moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA for grad school. I am so proud of him and I am working on making so I am in a place to move out there. In the mean time I am taking a semester off from Georgia Tech and reevaluating my major. I spend most of my time at Starbucks where I work hard for my health insurance. Anything else just ask... en-us Re: What punk bands don't scream? I agree with sarahhh. You could try some punk inspired bands... Gogol Bordello They call themselves Gypsy Punk..they have a fusion sound inspired by the Ukrainian Gypsy culture, punk, and reggae. Very fun stuff Fugazi They are post punk Dismemberment Plan They are actually much more rock in sound than punk. But they are heavily influenced by it. I highly recommend them to you! kgoins17 Sun, 09 Sep 2007 14:43:22 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_sorta_punk_bands_are_out_there 96771 Re: What is this Starbucks song? Normally inside of a Starbucks they play whatever the promotional CDs at the time are...So you should be able to ask the baristas what CDs have been playing. Since the same songs get played over and over again in there they might know. They also probably have the CD inside the store. Thats the point of the promotion. Hear Music has a huge selection of music and the website is not the easiest to navigate. There was a CD a while back called Off the Clock that featured starbucks workers that are in bands. Maybe one of those could be the song that you are looking for although I do not remember that lyric. kgoins17 Sun, 09 Sep 2007 14:05:49 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/does_any_one_know_who_sings_this 96762 Re: How do I get "Hey Jude" on my Myspace? (continued) When you feel attached to someone like you do it can be really hard to let go of but you already know the answer to your question. First of all he is not calling you; and one of the hardest lesson I ever had to learn was that the boy who does not call is not that interested. Go hang out with your friends, clean your room, join a group, do anything but pay attention to him. If he loves you like you claim to love you he will call. There can be no relationship until he gives you back what you give him and that at the very least merits a call. It is going to be hard not to contact him because you are addicted to the happiness that it brings you to talk to him. Just resolve not contact him. In time either he will find a way to talk to you and you will not have to worry at all about whether he is who he says he is or you eventually get over it. I was in a situation sort of like this although not quite as tangled the best thing is find something else to occupy your time. Hope that helps. kgoins17 Thu, 06 Sep 2007 21:30:03 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_my_mind_blowing_relationship_all 95522 Re: Is there a way to make electric blue hair dye? Technically you can dye hair with Kool Aid. That was very trendy at my middle school but it does not work well at all. Bright colors look best if the hair bleached. The best thing to do is to go to a colorist you will get the best results and it is the least likely that you will damage your hair. I had blue in my hair my senior year of high school and I loved it but it fades really quickly. If you do something like primary red it will give you that pop but it fades better. But I like I said the most important thing is splurge and go see a professional, so you make sure you keep all of your hair. kgoins17 Thu, 06 Sep 2007 20:59:54 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_there_anyway_to_make_an_electric 95513
