FunAdvice Advice from: katydid747 http://www.funadvice.com/my/advice/katydid747 I'm Katy, I'm 21 years old. I've been in a relationship for the past year and couldn't be happier. I'm a college football fan, Boomer Sooner. I'm a music and movie lover. True stories interest me. I read books in my spare time, if you know of any good ones, let me know. I'm straight forward and honest. I'm a pretty open minded unless the thought is seems unrealistic. I've been at my job for the past 3 years and ready for something new. I enjoy giving advise, I seem to be the one to go to when it comes to my friends! en-us Re: Pregnant or not? I would buy another test in a couple of weeks. your hcg levels might not be high enough yet to make a solid line. but a test doesn't lie, even a faint line. I got pregnant by using the pull out method. not always the best way to do it. good luck. katydid747 Thu, 05 Jun 2008 12:03:36 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/pregnant_or_not_5698 371975 Re: Have you ever woke up and couldnt move? that usually happens where your brain wakes up during sleep but your body doesn't some people call it an out of body experience. katydid747 Thu, 05 Jun 2008 12:01:38 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/have_you_ever_woke_up_and_couldnt 371972 Re: Tanning and pimples? scars don't tan. katydid747 Thu, 05 Jun 2008 11:59:14 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/tanning_and_pimples 371971 Re: Acne medications or remedies? I use proactive. I used acne free but it didn't work as well as the proactive, it usually made my face more oily than ever and made my break out every few weeks. katydid747 Wed, 28 May 2008 21:31:52 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/acne_12851 363167 Re: When in a pregnancy to stretchmarks start showing? depends if stretchmarks run in your family or not. I'm 22 weeks and don't have any yet, but I expect to get some. they will fade over time. katydid747 Wed, 28 May 2008 21:30:06 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/stretch_marks_question_2 363164 Re: Getting pregnant soon after giving birth well, you shouldn't be having sex for a long while after giving birth, at least from what my doctor said. if you are breast feeding that helps as a form of birth control. most doctors recommened you get on birth control once you give birth so that doesn't happen. katydid747 Mon, 26 May 2008 07:14:22 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/getting_preg_soon_after_giving_birth 359700 Re: Color scheme for Hazel Eyes? golds, pinks, purple. you can use a combo of pink, yellow, and brown. that's what I use and it makes my eyes pop. anything opposite the color spectrum of green will make your eyes stand out. golds will bring out any gold hues you might have in there. when I wear gold my eyes look yellow... or when I wear gray. katydid747 Mon, 26 May 2008 07:12:51 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/color_scheme_for_hazel_eyes 359699 Re: When will she have a swelling belly from being pregnant? if she is smaller she will probably start showing sooner than 5 months. I'm average for my height, and I'm just now starting to show... I'm 5 months along. But everyone is different so it's hard to say. katydid747 Wed, 21 May 2008 07:38:46 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/neighbor 354912 Re: Doctors, Payment & Possibly Pregnant if you can find a pregnancy center they will be able to help you know for sure and they usually don't cost a thing. Make sure it's a non profit one though, that's what they are there for. katydid747 Wed, 21 May 2008 07:37:10 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/doctors_payment_possibly_pregnant 354909 Re: Can I go swimming wearing a pad? I'm sure one of your girl friends would have one too. katydid747 Wed, 21 May 2008 07:33:26 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/can_i_go_swimming_wearing_a_pad 354906 Re: Christians that don't go to church? You may think you want a baby right now.. but when times get hard and you can't do anything to meet the babies needs it will be YOUR responsibility and should. I don't think the parents should end up having to meet the babies needs. You are young... trust me, wait. the feeling will go away and come back when you are old enough. katydid747 Fri, 29 Feb 2008 13:21:06 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/young_pregnancy_without_sex 242916 Re: Can I get an old photo restored that's tattered? wal mart can help make copies of the picture and they are really careful with it. katydid747 Fri, 29 Feb 2008 13:17:42 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/picturee 242907 Re: Secrets to picking the gender of your child? The sex of the baby has NOTHING to do with the mom. I've never heard of the ph/alkaline thing. doesn't sound too accurate...even though the sperm that carries the girl genes are stronger and fast doesn't mean they can withstand acidic fluids better than the sperm that carries the male gene. but that is just my opinion. katydid747 Fri, 29 Feb 2008 12:29:49 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/i_want_to_have_a_baby_girl 242838 Re: How can I produce breast milk without pregnancy? not possible. katydid747 Fri, 29 Feb 2008 12:22:50 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/breastmilk_58665 242823 Re: Girls, what's your favorite scent on a guy? vurt from pac sun katydid747 Fri, 29 Feb 2008 10:36:25 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/girls_what_s_your_favorite_scent 242699 Re: Your thoughts on abortion? 'drill a whole in a babys head and suck out the brains' refers to partial birth abortions where they deliver everything but the babies head and suck out the brains. They don't consider the baby "born" since the head is still inside. Even if it isn't a partial birth abortion if the baby isn't within the first trimester there are doctors who rip the limbs of the baby from it's body. They can feel everything. When a partial birth abortion occurs... obviously you can see the baby moving and is ALIVE... so would you not consider that murder? Everyone who is against abortion has already been born. If you have ever been inside an abortion clinic you can see how emotionally scarring it is on the individual. If you don't want to reproduce, than have protected sex and birth control available. Birth Conrol is readily available for everyone, but most teens are too scared to ask for it because they don't want to get in trouble for having sex. I do agree for courts to make adoption easier so more people can get approved for adoption. for the people that say "I don't want the baby to ruin my life" you have the choice for adoption.. that doesn't ruin your life. katydid747 Fri, 29 Feb 2008 10:32:15 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/your_thoughts_on_abortion 242698 Re: Is a condom enough of birth control? No, my boyfriend used a condom. good luck. katydid747 Fri, 29 Feb 2008 10:05:17 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/can_i_get_a_little_help 242676 Re: Why is my puppy nipping at me? My dog has a problem like that, but it is with jumping. As soon as I get home from work or wake up in the morning he is always jumping on me to get attention. I take him on walks and play fetch and tug a war with him and he still has so much energy. Usually what does the trick is when I let him have play dates with my boyfriends dog. That seems to wear him out pretty quick. katydid747 Fri, 29 Feb 2008 09:59:50 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/english_bulldog_puppy_trouble_again 242672 Re: Where to get a lipring at 15 without my parents? you have to be 18 or have a parent/guardian there... and they don't do lip piercings at the mall. katydid747 Wed, 27 Feb 2008 15:14:39 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/lip_ring 239937 Re: Is this puberty? no, every girl goes through that change. it just means you are normal. katydid747 Wed, 27 Feb 2008 15:13:57 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/pubrity 239934 Re: Can an overdose of vitamin c stop your period? taking more vitamin c than you are supposed to take will not help you to become more immune to getting the cold. katydid747 Wed, 27 Feb 2008 14:54:39 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/can_an_overdose_of_vitamin_c_stop 239904
