Re: What is normal stool color?

Normal stool color is any shade of brown. If your stool is another color like green, that could be a sign of problems.

Re: Is enulose syrup a good thing to take for constipation?

Did your going problem get any better after you'd taken the enulose syrup? I've read other places that doctors sometimes perscribe it for constipation...I don't have the problem myself, and I'm glad I don't. From reading the description (a friend of mine was taking it) enulose sounds like it tastes aweful.

Re: Desktop hangs quiet often

I had that problem as well with an older emachines computer, what I found was that for a few years, they had problems with their hard drives going bad. From your description, it sounds like you need to replace the hard disk as well, because it's not a windows issue until windows actually boots up.

Sorry to hear about the troubles.

Re: Running Makes You Live Longer?

Same thing as eating fish three times a week extending your life, or regularly eating fruits & vegetables. It's all statistics. That doesn't mean you will necessarily live longer, but that the odds are better that you'll live longer. Also, if you exercise & eat better, you'll be more likely to enjoy your life, if you live longer or not.

Re: Why is the Broadway Boogie Woogie so famous?

Paintings, like fashion, can sometimes be popular for reasons that escape most people. All it takes is the right mention in a few mass produced publications like the new york times, etc, and then suddenly every newspaper *has* to run a story on it, or they missed out.

To me, that looks like colorful spittle, layed out in geometric patterns...to others, it's art, inspiring, breathtaking, and wonderful. No sense in it, art just "is".

Re: Holiday party orderves any ideas what I should serve?

This other discussion has some great ideas:
http://www.funadvice.com/q/christmas_party_foods_appetizers

Also the standard fare:
1) cheese & crackers & meat
2) veggie tray with dip (cheese dip, ranch dressing, peanut butter, cream cheese, etc)
3) chips & dip (same kinds of dip there)
4) nachos
5) mini hot dogs
6) mushrooms, cheese or veggie sticks, battered & fried

Hope that helps, good luck with the party.

I have heard from other people that white vinager works well, but never tried it myself. This previous discussion: http://www.funadvice.com/q/stainless_steel has some similar advice, and also mentions a product called stainless steel magic. If that's available at your local grocery store, you might try that one out (read the label first, etc). Good luck.

Re: What gives a cabernet sauvignon it's character?

Cabernet sauvignon has a well defined aroma, typically the smells are violets, blackcurrant, cedar, and spice if the wine was produced in Europe.

The other thing is cabernet sauvignon is a type of grape, and if grown in California such as the Napa Valley area (as most cabernet in the US is grown there) the characteristics can be similar to those of the European grown grapes, but may be more overwhelmingly reminicent of oak, pepper, earth, ripe berries, and chocolate.

Last, if the grapes are grown in cooler areas with lower temperatures, cabernet sauvignon grapes have a more herbaceous character. Hope this helps (urp).

Re: What's the funniest thing that has happened to you ever?

This is a little bit gross, but one time I was presenting in front of a large team at my last job, in the middle of making a very important point about the strategy of my recommendations, how important they were, etc - the proverbial punchline...

I burped. Big. Loud. And right in the middle of a word, too, so there was no way to cover it up. A few people chuckled, and I think it's funny now...but at the time, I was a bit embarrassed.

Re: What is global warming?

In theory, global warming is the aggregate rise in actual temperature compared with past years & climate cycles due to excessive carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

The reason for the exessive carbon dioxide or CO2 is fossile fuels, rain forest clearing, etc - but this is all theory, there is some evidence to support it (see al gore's movie the inconvenient truth for a good run down of the best evidence to suppor the claim) however, the dinosaurs died out due to dramatic climate shift...so, it could be natural. Too early to tell, according to most.

Hope that helps.

Re: Argentine tango or traditional tango?

Argentine tango is by far the better one to take. In the rest of the world, that is the version of tango they teach, only on the US do they teach American tango.

If you can, watch "Take the lead" starring Antonio Banderas - awesome movie, there is one scene of Argentine Tango that is simply amazing.

The best known job sites are hotjobs.yahoo.com, monster.com, and careerbuilder.com though those are generic and not very specialized. What you might do is visit the appropriate government site & view their job listings for a site you'd like to work at, typically they list the jobs themselves & have very up to date information.
Re: type of set and rep management for serious muscle gain?

When I used to lift more, it was the variety of exercises that helped the most to gain mass. Eg, after 4-6 six weeks on a program where you're doing 3 sets of ten, change to 4-6 six week sof 4 reps of 8, and then switch to 5 "pyramid sets" where you're building weight after each of 10, 8, 6, and 4 reps, and then using lower weight amounts as you go back to 6, 8 and 10 reps.

I did this for about six months, and gained around twenty pounds of muscle. I think if I'd worked out more hours during the day & ate more, it would have worked better, but at the time I was only in the gym one and a half hours / day for five days a week.

Make sure you do some serious stretches as well, so you don't risk hurting your shoulder as it heals.
