FunAdvice Advice from: intellect_is_rare http://www.funadvice.com/my/advice/intellect_is_rare en-us Re: Is it possible to dye black hair lighter? Actually, you can lighten your haIr, since your hair is considered virgin, with no chemicals added. This will be a long process, which is called double processing which you will need to prelighten your hair first. Then you would apply the desired color. As long as you do not do this yourself, your stylist will be careful not to over-process your hair. For those saying you will lose all your hair that is abosolutely STUPID!!! The only way you can lose your hair doing this is; 1. You have chemicals on your hair already. 2. You over-process your hair, leaving it less pourus and vulnerable to damage. Hope this is helpful!!! intellect_is_rare Tue, 22 Jan 2008 07:53:22 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/very_unchartered_territory 196285 Re: How to go from dreadlocks to waves? You will need to cut all of your hair off to begin all over. You will also need to keep moisturizer in your hair, this will allow your transition to go much smoother. Always remember when making such a drastic change you have to retrain your hair to do what you want it to do. intellect_is_rare Tue, 22 Jan 2008 07:42:28 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/f_ck_dreads 196273
