It's boat! Hi everyone. I live with my Nan, Mum and little sister Rose, who is eight. I'm open-minded, fairly relaxed, kind of sarcastic, opinionated, deep,indecisive, claustrophobic, and a tonne of other stuff that I can't think of at the moment but might update later. I also have a fear of chickens. I'm a vegetarian, a lifestyle my parents have reacted to in a very considerate and accepting way, an apparently uncommon trait, which I am very proud of. I go to a selective high school, so I guess that means I'm "of higher intelligence", although I recently stuck my tounge to the inside of my family's refrigerator ( to see what would happen ), giving my sister further "proof " to back up her claim that the scores in every intelligence test and exam I have ever sat are typos. When people ask me if I'm a goth, I usually mutter a " um... I dunno, s'pose so...", but only because, even though I am willing to defend Goth against all the misguided pre-conceptions that are continually cropping up, I just want to exclude myself from any prejudices people ( especially some parents ) may have. I also don't like to go around saying " oohh, look at me, I'm a goth! " mainly because it's idiotic, but also because I'd rather be "kate, a goth" instead of "a goth, called kate". If you see what I mean. But when it all boils down to it, I guess I am goth. I am currently trying to learn the trumpet. Note the trying. I'm a yellow belt in karate. People say I have an odd sense of humor, some might say a bit dark, but I do like a good bit of slapstick in moderation. When I grow up I want to be healthy, wealthy and wise. ( Please, please excuse the cliche ). For a profession, I might like to be a comedian, ( I told this to my best friend and she burst out laughing. Can't decide wether that's good or bad...) a philosopher, ( she had the same reaction to that one.) a forensic scientist, an actor, or ( I think everyone's had this dream at some point in their lives ) a rock star, reguardless of the fact that I can't sing or play any prominent rock instrument. ( Although I'm begging my dad to buy me a drum set.) For starters, one should always put a capital at the begining of a sentance. That's just basic, kindergarten stuff. Secondly, the phrase "on purpose all the time" could be refined to produce a smoother, more correct sentance. May I suggest expanding your vocabulary and branching out to words like regularly, consistantly or wilfully. Also, the word "don't"is a contraction of the words "do" and "not", so it needs to have an apostraphe to take the place of the letter removed.(In this case, the letter "o"). As "chatspeake" is a compound word, consisting of the words "chat" and "speak", there is no need to put an "e" on the end. Now on to your second comment, which is almost as bad as the first. At least you used a capital at the begining of the sentance. As I've said before, contractions have an apostraphe. Can't is a contraction. And, lastly, when writing down a number under 10, it is considered correct grammar to spell it out using letters. "I just cant take people seriously when they ask questions like they are 5" But at least I agree with you on the essence of the sentance; I can't take people seriously when they write in an immature fashion either. That's why I comment on their writings and correct all their mistakes.
