hahaha that actually sounds cool. but not my style. I'm more of the alcohol and dance type. I usually just have dinner at a nice restaurant with my closest friends, and then head to a club where I party with everyone (close + casual friends). but I'm tired of that...

Re: How to get rid of dark circles?

these are hard to fully get ride of, but you can minimize them with drugstore products. you can also cut thin slices of cucumbers or a cooled tea bag over your eyes for a few minutes while relaxing in the morning...you can also use your ring finger and gently pat the area to get the blood flowing. I've tried the finger trick, but for me it doesn't work, maybe I'm just imagining it, but I think it makes my eyes puffy lol.

you're at a time where you're confused about your identity and your body is changing from adolescent to teen. so it's natural to be confused like this. plus it girls tend to check out girls, it's human nature to us to be envious of others. so you might be checking them out to see how you compare...and the whole fantasy thing, I think it's just curiosity...but if you really think that you are or want to be sure, talk to a psychologist, or maybe even do your own experiment...confront it and see how you feel afterwards

Re: How to curl my eyelashes?

like lore13 said, heating your curler a bit does work.

we're both asian, so we have thin short lashes. this is what I do and it absolutely works.

- heat the shu uemura brand eyelash curler. this is one of the best curlers, found at sephora.
- place close to the roots and squeeze pushing the curler up slightly, then work the curler to the tip (about 3 small squeezes), remember pushing upwards
- I adore the Maybelline's Sky high Curves mascara brand. it keeps your lashes staying curly!!

Re: What would you pay for clear skin?

it's funny how I stumbled onto this topic.

I've been using the aspirin mask 3 times a week for about 4 months now. way before I read this note. and I can positively say personally that it works, but every skin type is different.

I use the aspirin mask, with one of those machine toothbrush to scrub instead of my fingers because it applies even pressure, and gets right into the skin.

aspirin mask has helped me have flawless skin, and the best is not only does it prevent, but if I have any pimples that are about to pop up in the near future, it brings it to the surface right away and goes away faster too.

I use the aspirin with honey though, not clay masks, because honey nurtures the skin, preventing the aspirin to over drying your face. you can also afterwards, put some egg whites on your face. I do this and it is the best combination for smoother, glowy, perfect looking skin.

if not comfortable with the aspirin idea, don't try it, but really it is worth it.

I absolutely adore this mascara. I've tried so many, but non as good as this, and it is CHEAP! best of all, it's waterproof and smuge proof, so no worries!

I''m a viet girl, so I have short stick like lashes, and this does wonders. OH! but coupling it with the Shu Uemura eyelash curler found at Sephora is THE ULTIMATE BEST!

5ft 8 at 16 is good. I would love to be 5'8!!

tell him not to worry because hypothetically males don't stop growing until they're 25 (girls it's earlier, about 22, because we start puberty earlier). so he'll still be growing! so jealous. lol.

but like the others have said, good posture helps you look taller. as well enough sleep helps your hormones regulate. in addition, if he's brave enough, do yoga and pilates! they stretch your muscles and stuff.

Re: How do I make my butt bigger?

there's quite a few. it all boils down to keeping up with it and slowly increasing the number of reps that you do. do the following, at first 3 times a week, then increase it day by day...dont jump into doing them everyday because it will be useless and you will see no results as your body will instantly adjust and your muscles will have over worked.

Butt:
- squats = 2 sets of 12 reps
- front or walking lunges = 2 sets of 12 reps
- elevated hip bridge = 2 sets of 15 reps (ie. lay down, heel on chair, push hips off ground, stomach should be flat, you'll really feel it in the butt, bring down but not touch floor, repeat)
- straight leg reverse lift = 2 sets of 12 reps (ie. on hands and knees like a dog, lift leg back and up in the air, slowly bring down without touching floor, repeat)
- end it off with 90 degree squats against the wall, like you're sitting on a chair, hold it for as long as you can with your arms straight up above your head. do about 2 or 3 of these

Abs:
- reverse ab curls = 2 sets of 20 (lie on the floor, legs straight up in the air, push butt off floor and slowly bring down not touching floor, repeat)
- bicycle crunches = 2 sets of 12 (lie on floor, both legs slightly off floor, bring alternating knee/elbows together while doing crunches)
- full vertical crunches = 2 sets of 20 reps (lay on floor, feet straight up in the air, lift shoulder blades off the floor, slowly bring down, repeat)

I do all these, hope it helps you. remember, you have to hold and contract your muscles while doing them. and take a 1 min break in between the sets/

good luck

Re: Can I change my earring yet?

honestly it depends on your skin type. some people no matter how long they wait, can still get infections. mine healed extremely fast, less then your 3 weeks. here's what I did:

- the best method to 100% avoid infection, is to switch earrings with either gold or pure silver. none of those fake cheap ones found at like claire's...even though they're prettier lol.
- squirt some bactine first aid found at like walmart or drugstores, onto a Q-tip and rub the pierced section (front and back so that it seeps into the hole)
- rub some Vaseline (a little) onto the earring and insert it

do this 2x a day for about a week or until you feel it has fully healed and you don't feel any slight pain left.

OH! and remember, throughout the day, fiddle around with your earring, like push it in and out or turn it. the circulation of movement and air helps it from closing in

if you don't have gold or silver earrings...I guess the fake ones will work too, just takes longer.

good luck

Re: Is it possible to perm your hair straight?

YES.

I've gotten my hair chemically straightened before. it is one of the best hair alternative solution to straightening your hair with an iron, even if it is the ceramic kind.

like all products, it can be bad for your hair. I did mine in Vietnam, so I'm not sure how strong U.S. or Canadian chemically straightening products can be. but mine lasted for ALMOST ONE YEAR! but I'm also asian, so my hair is relatively straight to be begin with.

but my hairdresser, over here in Canada, says it should last for up to at least 6 months...it all depends on the thickness of your hair, how absorbent it is, and etc.

just go ask your salon, they can better advice you. but bottom line, it is possible to get your hair straight permanently for a short period of time. it is bad, because it is chemicals going into your scalp to the roots, but the damage will be about the same if you were to use a straightening iron...just saves time and efforts

Re: Is it possible to go from black to light brown hair?

it's always possible to go lighter.

if it is your first time dyeing your hair then I advice not going too light, because virgin hair absorbs the dye really fast.

I think you'll look great with a deep chocolate brown with cheekbone length side bangs. don't go too light, it might make you look washed out.

I'm a sushi lover, I'm absolutely addicted to sushi!

sushi isn't for everyone, just because it can involve so many taste buds and textures...if you don't like the raw stuff, order the cooked ones or fried ones. such as the spider makis or dynamite.

usually first time eating sushi doesn't taste that good, but definitely you'll love it by the 2nd time and become addicted like me who can eat sushi everyday!

smoking weed, or gosh knows what, has nothing to do with pregnancy or not. clearly you have skipped your sex education classes. unprotected sex, depending on where you are in your cycle, will most likely lead to pregnancy. even if the guy is not penetrated in you, but is close to your opening, and his sperm is strong, you can still get pregnant.

not only that, but other diseases like AIDS, infections, etc. seriously, stop, and get tested. you're still so young. such a shame...

Re: What are home remedies for pimples?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. as in a pimple that's just grown in or you had pimples and it's gone but had left marks.

if they're marks then you can use the homemade aspirin face scrub. don't worry, aspirin has been known to cure impurities, like scars, roughness, blemishes, and etc. I use it as a substitute for my exfoliater.

what you need:
- non coated aspirin from drugstores, remember has to be non coated
- honey

what you have to do:
- place 2 to 3 tablets of aspirin into a bowl or plate, watever you like
- put 2 to 3 drops on the tablets, let it dissolve (should be about 5 seconds), it will expland
- squirt a pearl size amount of honey on the aspirin
- use your fingers and blend it, it should feel grainy like a scrub
- wet your face a little bit with water
- smear the aspirin all over your face, scrubbing in round circles, focusing on the areas you want to focus, which are your pimple marks
- scrub for about 1 minute, leave on for 2 mins
- wash face with warm water
- pat dry and tone and moisturize

I do this every other day, so about 3 times a week. your scars and marks will not go away completely, but they will be VERY LESS NOTICEABLE. it works for me.

good luck

Re: How do I get rid of stick legs?

you have to do the opposite to gain or lose weight. so first slow down your metabolism by eating less meals. I know it sounds like I'm telling you to go anorexic, but I actually learned this from operah.
to gain weight = decrease your calorie in take for 1 week, then eat a lot for the next week...like a lot. this works because during the week you starved yourself, your metabolism slowed down and then when you started eating a lot again, your body stores everything as fat instead of breaking them down. this is because it thinks you're going to starve yourself again, and so it doesn't risk and stores everything as fat.

the opposite works for wanting to lose weight. just eat more then you usually do for 1 wk, and then eat a lot less the following week.

but this method I find is successful for those who want to gain weight, because you just end up slowing down your metabolism...and for those who want to lose weight, we dont' want that, now do we? lol

Re: How do I stop pigging out?

oh! stir up your eating habits, you actually lose weight if you do because your metabolism doesn't know how much to burn. meaning, 3000 calories today, but eat 1500 calories tomorrow, eat only negative calories today, and back to normal the next...totally confuse your metabolism...by doing this, it allows you to have a little MINI pig out.
