Im a volunteer at my local Humane Society, and a Professional Pet Groomer of 9 years. All the Bullies we get in the shelter are in very poor condition health wise. And the girl above my answer is 100% correct about them being good dogs. But they are GREAT DOGS!! Behavior wise, so tolerant of other dogs and children! I have a 3 year old son and he's so rough with my female bullie and she could care less what he does to her. She's a saint!! But she's also 100% correct with the health problems... and they start very early... and last for a life time. I spend about$400 for her bi-yearly Vet appointments. And I paid $3800 for her as a pup. She's 8 years now and she requires a bath once a week to maintain the face rolls, tail rolls,(roll dermatitis) and ear disinfectant. HIGH MAINTENANCE DOGS!! If I wasn't a groomer I wouldn't be able to deal with the constant grooming and on-going medicating. Also you might want to look into French Bulldogs. They are super cute too and have WAY less health problems.
