Re: How do I view my child's private Myspace?

As parents we have to consider our childrens safety and sometimes their privacy comes second to that.

You can get something like WebWatcher to see what they are looking at, what they are typing etc.

Who is most likely to have been through it and seen the results? Along the lines Llewellyn says its ok, I think.

Re: What is the difference between php and html?

PHP allows you to create non-static pages and interact with databases.

PHP is a scripting language that is embedded in an HTML page. HTML provides the basic structure and simple non-chaning elements of a page\site while PHP allows you to display different content to different visitors or on different days.

It also allows you to collect information from visitors and store or display the results. An example would be a guest book.

Re: What up with these questions?

I agree with rnealw.

People come here for advice and we should provide it where we can. Not everyone has the same intellectual ability and understanding of the world.

As pointed out, there are also visitors from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures. Some in which the most obvious things are not discussed.

We should try not to judge others against our own background.

Re: Why is the world round?

The world is basically a molten ball of rock with a thin skin on it. As said above the gravitational pull of the planet pulls roughly equally on all points of the surface so it ends up as a ball.

Incidentally, a cube would spin equally well in space. How a cube would come into being would be a different question - because of the above.

Re: Will God hate me for being who I am?

Gasman

"Well, if you believe in Christ as Savior and Lord, repent or turn away from this witchcraft, sorcery"

"No second chances after death, no bargaining, no reincarnation to try again, no pergatory. "

These are your beliefs, as is your choice to believe in the bible.

Hopeless (and anyone else worried by such pronouncements),

No one here has the answer. God is unknown, except in your soul. I do not believe a supreme being would hate you for confusion. And you do seem confused. You are Wiccan and Druidic but worry about the Abrahamic God?

Search your heart and soul and if you truly believe what you are doing is 'right' then it probably is for you.

Good luck in your search for the truth.

Re: How should I tell my Mom I might be pregnant?

Most parents might yell at least for a little while :) but I seriously doubt they would hate you!

I don't know your age but if you are worried about telling mom I assume quite young. If you may be pregnant you do need to find out as soon as possible. Your mom can be the greatest source of the support you need.

It's probably best to wait for a quiet time to tell your mom when you can talk together.

all the best - good luck

Re: Can you get pregnant from swallowing sperm?

Just to follow up a few points made here.

1. Sperm doesn't have to reach ovaries

2. Not everyone knows everything! See 1 above :) Aren't we all here to learn and to share what we know. If you disrespect people asking questions you think are 'stupid' you miss the chance of helping someone and show yourself as a little stupid?

Re: What could happen if I had a condom stuck inside of me?

I doubt whether it is serious but if you are worried then you could see a doc. However depending on how long it has been since it happened, you probably know if there were any consequences by now. The only thing likely to happen is that you got a bit of an infection.

Re: Husband said I'm chubby, what does that mean?

As already stated, whether you lose weight and how much is your choice. However, I assume you asked your husband because you wanted his opinion, so he gave it.

Speak to him and ask him what he meant. It sounds as if he does love you whatever, which is special. Maybe he is concerned for your health if you gain more?

It's also true that we all have preferences. He says he likes you as you are but maybe his preference is not for skinny women or very fat women. There is a big difference between love and attraction. Be honest, anyone reading this, you may still love your partner but would you still be so attracted if they put on a great deal of weight?

Re: How can I show the love of my life how I feel?

Hi,

All you can do is ask her straight when you do get to hang out again. She might be feeling vulnerable. She might just not like you that way. If not then it will hurt to find out but you need to know. and if the answer is no then you can move on. At the moment you are just stuck.

good luck

Re: Am I right that an*l sex is wrong and can make you bleed inside?

There is no reason why an*l sex should cause internal bleeding if you are careful. Many people do it successfully :) So, if that is the only reason you are worried then you shouldn't be.

If there are other reasons then you shouldn't feel pressured into doing anything you don't want to. Sex of any sort should be about being comfortable together. Only doing what you both wish to.

There is the issue of health to consider. It's not advisable to practice an*l if you have an STI. After an*l it is also advisable to wash before doing anything else.

Re: What to do when my boyfriend is tearing my family apart?

Your daughter is going through a great deal of change in her life and finding things difficult. It is natural for teen girls and their mothers to fall out to some extent.

You only get one chance at life. It's what makes you happy that is important. If you think this guy is the one you want to be with then stick with him. It would be such a shame to break something special.

If things do go wrong with the relationship then your real friends will still be there for you. If they are not then they weren't worth knowing anyway.

Your daughter will probably start to settle in 5 years or so whatever the issues.

I say stick with it and I wish you all the best of luck
