FunAdvice Advice from: ash23

I am a current student. I am 21 years old, and getting married this year! I work with elementary students daily, mentoring them and implementing educational skills. I love spending time with family and friends, and being there for people in need. I have spent many hours volunteering for community hospitals and have experience in peer counseling. I love- listening, having a good laugh, shopping, anything that deals with makeup, scrapbooking, and just living life. I believe that life should be lived to the fullest-with no regrets-just a positive attitude that you can change the future and learn from mistakes.

Re: Help with mom and hair!!

Most likely your mom does no want you to dye your hair because of your age! (Im assuming your sister is older?)

You should talk to your mom about making a compromise, to maybe dye your hair in a few years. Black dye is pretty dramatic, and thats prob. why she has a problem with it.

Re: Annoying friend.

In every friend you have, there will most likely be things you dont like about them. Dont try to pick out all the flaws in your friend.

If there are things that she is doing that really bothers you, then talk to her about it in a nice way. If you communicate your feelings to her, most likely you will feel better about the things she does that annoys you.
Good Luck!!

Re: How to feel beautiful

You shouldn't base your beauty off of someone elses opinion.
You are as beautiful as you think you are. The key to being beautiful, is feeling beautiful because you love yourself. If you can love yourself, you confidence will shine through, and people will see that in you.

If you are confident about your body.. your boyfriend will see that, and believe that too.

Take time to sit down and write a list of things you love about yourself. I promise this will help you on your road to high self esteem.

I am pretty sure 16. The best thing to do is go talk to someone at a local Taco Bell. They will give you info, and even an application if you are old enough!!

Making out usually comes naturally, and it isnt something you really need to worry about.

Remember that you dont have to make out or hook up with anyone just because they want you. Its your choice!

You dont have to track it really. Its your own choice. If you want to keep track get a calander and put like hearts on the days you have your period, then no one will know what your tracking.

Re: Why does my brother get treated better?

I know how you feel. Growing up I had two younger brothers. One was four years younger and one was ten years younger. During certain situations I would always get in more trouble than my younger brothers, when their behavior seemed to be worse than mine.

Now that I am older I see that my parents just expected more out of me, because I was the oldest. The yonger kids usually just get away with more because they are younger than you... Your parents dont mean to favor them or make you feel bad, but they have to discipline you in a different way than your younger brother, because you both are different ages!

Dont feel bad! Once your a little older and so is your brother it will start to change!

Re: Bad Cramping, should I see a doctor?

Yes see a doctor! Some girls suffer from horrible periods, where they miss school and work for days because of the pain they are in. There are a few options to help you with this that your doctor can give you. The visit is worth it! Good luck

Re: When are your wisdom teeth supposed do grow in?

Its all different with everyone. I just went to my dentist recently and found out that I only have two wisdom teeth. (They havent grown in)-and I am almost 21. It all depends. Your dentist could give you an estimate of when you will get them, or if you have any at all. You can get them removed before they even grow in.

Im surprised she would want to do that. You need to make sure she is talking to you about this! She cant give the baby up for adoption with out your consent! Its your baby too. You need to talk to her right away about how important this baby is to you! You need to let her know that she needs to support you and be strong no matter how hard it is for her.. I hope you can find a way to communicate with her! Good Luck

Re: What do you do when rumors or drama happens?

People start rumors to get a reaction out of you. Dont give them what they want. Its a rumor. Your real friends will know those rumors arn't true because they are the people who really know YOU. Dont listen to anyone, and dont give them that reaction they are looking for.

It will never really be exactly on the right date. There are factors that can prolong you from starting or make you start earlier. For example, stress can make your period start late, which can put you off. Dont worry about it. It will always be a little different.

So we lock that to keep the good stuff but stop it from going out of topic.
