Re: Is this a good law or bad law ?

Wow this one is crazy. First of all I am an open minded person. I dont hate or dislike anyone for the way they live. I think I would just have to hold it till I got home though. I dont get why we change so many things is this country to prevent making people with transgender identity or whatever you want to call it comfortable. Im not sure about others kids but mine personally would freak out if the walked into a bathroom and seen a man in a dress standing at the sink. Could you imagine the questions. There comes a time when you need to explain all these situations to a child but Id appreciate it if I could do that in my own time and way. Why does everyone want to shove this in our face. If it makes a many feel pretty to dress like a girl so be it. Do whatever makes you happy. To pass laws that please a small part of the population when things were fine the way they are is rediculous. Men no matter what they are or how they dress should use a mans restroom and same goes for women. I agree that sometimes it stinks having to wait but I would rather wait than storm into a mans bathroom and make others feel uncomfortable.

Re: Can you negotiate with terrorists ?

Forget negotiations. We are beyond that point. As far as terrorist being freedom fighters , whos freedom are they fighting for. How can so many people say that just because there religion tells them to do something it is right. It is not right to murder or torture innocent people. They were doing that way before our troops went over there. Has everyone forgotten how many innocent lives were taken in those towers? How about this. There are a lot of Iraqis that want us there. We are protecting them from the terrorist. Kids are going to school even the girls. WOW huhThere are muslims all over Iraq that dont want to kill our people. Its not all about religion. Who owes these people any respect. Unless they are attacking innocent people they are hiding. That doesnt sound like respectable behavior to me...

Re: If you live in the US, are you proud of your country?

If our country is so pathetic why do you stay. Our military men and women would be dissapointed to read this one. To my knowledge we are not drafting. LOL Know your facts though we should be. Those who choose to go into the military know there is a possibility to be deployed. Thats why we have military services to protect our country. The little kids being bombed in Iraq are being hit by the insurgents. We are trying to prevent this from happening. My children are proud there daddy is a US soldier. We live in a country where if you work hard enough you can do or be whatever you want. American people can actually live there dreams. Nothing is perfect but we are closer than anything else. As far as rules to control us , how about rules to control violence, crime, injustice. What country doesnt have rules? Thats probably the most ignorant thing I have ever heard that rules take away our freedom. To state my point I love my country and God Bless those Troops putting there life on the line even for the clueless. And Obama will not be getting my vote...

Re: Current Status of "War in Iraq"

If you want to do a report on the war in Iraq I would start by trying to look in thearmy post newsletter which you can usually find on an Army installations main website. If you go to the media you have a lot of bad info and no positive. I get info updates from my husbands unit and it gives me a lot of info. I would be happy to foward it to you if you send me your email address.

Re: Why do I always have headaches?

Headaches can come frm a number of things other than migraines and still occur often. If you have sinus issues and feel pressure in the face and forehead. for that you could use any sinus headace medication or some sudafed. You can also have stress or tension headahes. They usually start from the neck and work there way up and are brought on by stress of course. Then migraines tend to last longer but you should notice a sensitivity to light. As far as over the counter meds Excedrine has a pill for each sympton and tends to work for me better than anything else. Hope you feel better

Re: What will happen if US forces pull out of Iraq?

One again I see a lot of people who are very obviously misinformed. We are doing good in Iraq. If we pulled out now you cant take the bllod shed over there and multiply it by ten. I understand most of you only here what the news tells you therefore you do see only the bad things going on. Our soldiers our putting there life on the line to make Iraq a safer place for the people who live there. We have set up a number of clinics to help out families who need to be treated or seen. There have been many terrorist detained just this month alone. We have seized multiple weapons used to make explosives. Our troops are teaching the Iraqi soldiers to fight ,rescue, and rebuild. There are now citizens who are reporting suspected activity to our troops and Iraqi troops. They are actually working to help us make there world a better place. The main people who want us out of there are the terrorist because they dont want our troops stoping them.Iraqi people in East Rashid held elections on March 5th to determine who would represent them to the Government in Iraq.More than 1300 Iraqi recruits completed training to start patroling the streets of Baghdad. That is just the latest. There was a class of over 2400 before this one. Iraqis are helping now secure there land. They need our help. Our troops are leaving here, leaving behind there home and there families. They are paying the ultimate sacrifice for there country and our people. This is there job. It is hard on them to leave but I imagine it is even harder when they see people who say they are waisting there time. We should have gotten the job done when we were there during Dessert Storm. We are there again and if we pull out now we will be back in another 10 years when they attack us again. Setting a timetable would make us all feel better but what will happen when they set that timetable and we arent done? My husband just left last month for his 2nd deployment I want him home too. My kids and our family want them home. The other families I know want there spouse, son, daughter, daddy or whatever they may be home.We also have pride in what they do. we get the news most do not. We get the good and bad.

If a canidate makes it that far hopefully he did not turn his back on our flag. I think being president should mean you have pride for your country. Stand up and salute and be lucky you are here and there are enough people entrusting you with the privilidge of running there country. What is this world coming to?

Re: Should this saying be changed ?

those two words should never be said together. How does that man get that America is damned anyway? We have our issues our crime our diseases but we are also a country filled with freedom and liberties like no other. Thats why we have an imigration problem. They would rather be here than there ya know. I just dont get how so many people think they are owed something for being here. Nobody is owed anything regardless of how they got here. They are lucky to be here. Everyone could be in far worse places than America. Take Iraq for example. Look at the little things they get killed for. God has Blessed America

Re: Shouldn't our troops come home?

I cant believe the amount of people who believe are soldiers are doing no good in Iraq. I would love for all the soldiers to come home. My life revolves around this. Do I want my kids over ther in a couple of years???No Thats what it would lead to. Do I want them here fighting were our kids are? NO They went over there they have done good things a lot of blood has been shed, our people there people and yes innocent people. It happens everyday in this country its just not as front page as everyone has made Iraq. When you look at the news and see Iraq all you see is the bad. I cant remmber the last time I seen anything in the news about what our men and women are doing good over there. I read my updates from the commander and I see the pictures and news about the hospitals and free clinics we set up and send our medics to in order to help these people. Point being if we pull out now we will be back or they will be here. We have to finish the job now.

Re: Is my brother in iraq ok?

My husband is in Iraq as well and I can tell you that if something were wrong and it had been even a week since you heard anything from the you would know by now. If a loved one is hurt over there the military has to notify next of kin. To my knowledge it isnt a long wate it is usually within a day or two. Right now being that there is an increase in activity there there are a lot of reasons he hasnt made contact. He could be on missions or not able to make contact due to blackouts. That happens really often. My advice would be to ask your parents or if he is married ask his wife because if something were wrong they would have heard. I do hope all is well with your brother and please thank him for the job he does.
