How old were you or how old do you think you should be before you have sex?

I was 16 years old - I dont regret it.

To me age does not matter so much when you are talking about if you are ready for sex. When you lose your virginity it should be with someone you really care about, when you are ready to deal with the consequences (pregnancy, stds, heartbreak), when you are well informed about the human body and reproductive organs and how things work and how a person can get pregnant, when you know what birth control and condoms are and know how to use them, and also when you are 100 percent sure that you are ready. You should never let anyone talk you into to something you aren't sure if you are ready for.

I was 15. I think it was too young for me. My previous boyfriend dumped me because I didn't want to have sex. Then I met another guy, had sex with him because I liked him, and then the guy never talked to me again...he had a girlfriend that he failed to mention to me about. I thought that it was impossible to have a relationship unless you were experienced. So I thought having sex with this guy would actually produce a lasting relationship...it failed miserably!

I don't think there is a certain age that you have to be. I think it depends a lot more on your level of maturity and whether you can deal with any possible consequences that comes with having sex. Also I think that another thing that I would add to the above is when you know almost all there is to know about protecting yourself and when you are in a committed and loving relationship.

I was 18. It was hard with all the peer pressure, but when you're ready your heart will let you know. But there are two types of ready's first you have to be redy within yourself. Two you have to know all about std's and pregnancy. Sex is very pleasing, but is very risky. There are all kinds of things to watch out for. Be safe.

I was 15, I dont regret it as I knew I was ready and comfortable with the guy at the time. However if I could change the guy I would of! It kinda makes me cringe now haha

I was 16 when I first did it. and I don't regret it. I don't think age matters so much but you can be at a certain age to be too young to have it. It's not just about the sex, it's about who you do it with and if you trust them because when you have it make sure your doing it for you, because giving it up is a big thing and you don't want to regret it. and always use protection no matter what.
