Why do so many teens feel the need to have sex. It can be very dangerous. And why do people think it's sooo cool. It's not really. It can ruin your life if you ever get a disease, or pregnant even. It confuses me.

I think that if you are in love, you are responsible, and you take the precaution and are ready to deal with the conseuqences, you can have sex.
I lost my virginity at 15. I continued to have sex, I never got an STD, I never got pregnant, etc. I knew about protection and birth control and took the right precautions.

I didnt feel the need to have sex I felt I was ready. some people do it for pleasure, to get back at people, even to get preganant there are loads of different raeasons.

yes it can ruin your life but not always.

you can get diseases and preganant but there are ways to prevent these such as the pill, morning after pill, coil, condoms, implantation.

I am on the pill I dont use condoms I have to admit but I havent slept with anyone else and neither has my boyfriend we lost our virginity to each other and we waited months becuase we both felt we werent ready but we took out time and when we both felt ready we had sex.

spur of the moment... it might sound bad, but when an honest guy wants to do that with the woman he knows (or thinks) he loves, he wants to do anything to make her feel good... causing her to have an 0rgasm, expecially her first, even if its just phone sex, feels really good... its an amazing confidence booster and if thats her first time, he'd love to hear her enjoying it. most a55-ish guys plan on their dating of that particular woman to eventually end, so they try to see if they could sleep with her.

there are most likely more reasons than this including hormones and other junk that make 'em want to more, but im not going to list every reason...

It's just like when you were a kid. You did things you weren't allowed to because you wanted to prove to yourself, your friends, and siblings that you COULD do something without your parents knowing. It's the same reason kids drink and smoke before legal age. The stigma of oh its sooo cool to do it. Kids are in a hurry to grow up and it scares the crap out of me. They look at these things, sex included, as adult and by doing them it makes them more grown up. They are too busy keeping up the hustle of teenage life to realize how dangerous it is and unfortunately for some it ends badly. Hopefully those that end up $hit creek will learn from it and keep their children from making the same mistakes.

EXACTLY!! I totally agree. No one ever gets it. I'm still a child (15 to be exact). but most teens my age think they're grown! it makes me sick. They don't know what's in for them when they get older. They have plenty of time to start doing the older things WHEN THEY GET OLDER!!! That's why they have age policies. I'm glad someone else feels the same way.
