Where do you stand on gay marriage(im not gay, I just believe in equal rights)

I feel that staight christians should decide whom one marries.

I have no problem with gay marriage. It's their choice; if a girl wants to marry a girl or a guy wants to marry a guy then so be it. I can't get mad at them for liking someone in the same sex. If that's what they prefer then I hope they live happily ever after.

I have no problem with gay marriage. I look at it like this... homosexuality was around wayyy before Christianity. so who are we (christians.. etc) to say that it's wrong? homosexuality isn't something that can be cured, treated, etc. it's just who you are...

Marriage is not decided by the church anymore - it's now a legal union.

I think every person should be allowed to marry the person they love, and it's not for everyone else to pick and choose who has that right.

Therefore, I'm happy I live in a place where gay marriage is legal.

I think that it is stupid as to why people would be against gay marriage. people should be allowed to marry who they want. its love and there shouldn't be a law stopping that. it is still finding a person to be maried to and its still supporting our population. I find it stupid. its love people. get over it.

And just because that mother used an inappropriate means to become pregnant, doesn't mean there aren't better ways out there.
There's artificial insemination, or a surrogate mother... and although in SOME states its difficult to adopt, it isn't everywhere.
And prettygirl15, so you're saying gay people can't get married because its religious... so why can't they just get married by a judge instead of a priest?

The reason marriage exists is because this was brought about by religions. Therefore religion has a lot to do with why we have them. So if you want to be married it is a religious act to begin with. Religions set up marriage between man and woman only. Anything else is a commited relationship.

Im not for gay marriage because I think is wrong but I do have gay friends and if they ever got married I def would support them and help them. Sometimes its not peoples faults why there gay so you know. I say no but yes if it for a friend.

all that matters is that the two people are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together.

Hey melovesyou, what it your problem with me huh? if you dont like then oh well get over it. I love all my gay friends, But im not gonna say gay marriage is right. I they wanna get married male to male or female to female ill be at the wedding if not help planning it. ut still im not for it but I cant stop it.
