Why is this girl so mean?

I no this girl that I dont really talk to but I think she like hates me! I mean I couldnt go to a swim meet the other day so my friends on the team called and wee like were really sorry you couldnt come than I heared her in the background say she didnt want me to go than they were leaving a message and she grabbed the phone and hung up when they were talking to me I dont understand why she hates me...but I kinda hate her but im still nice to her! grrr...she makes me so mad any advice?
