Xbox 360 or ps3 ?

I prefer 360 but my brother thinks PS3 is better!

dunno, but they have both got to be better than the Wii, what a load of poop that is! £500 on something that I don't even want to play with!

I know yeah my younger bro got a wii for his bday and he has been on it once and got bored LOL

My opinions are...
Xbox 360 costs nearly half the price of a PS3 in some stores,
but PS3 has more graphics capabilities. It can handle better graphics, but only if the game designer bothers to make games with intensely high graphics.
You should also consider the size and portability of both consoles.
I have an Xbox 360, but it's a big piece of blah to carry around.

You should consider games too. Xbox 360 has some exclusives like Fable II and Halo series, but PS3 has its exclusives and Tales series, such etc.
Xbox 360 also has 'achievements' which you can practically think them as of 'side-quests' if you play rpg's/mmorpgs. I would recommend either, prefer to pick on your own liking. I picked the Xbox 360 for a bunch of reasons.

The Xbox 360 is way better. It has better online cababilities with XBOX Live. The PS3 has a very bad setup for online even though it is free. I would pick a 360 over a PS3 anyday.

well I actually prefer the wii with custom firmware
but other than that the 360 is the best not only is it cheaper but the game titles are better and it lloks cooler

my brothers mate has had 4 xbox 360's because they all fryed when they were in warrenty and the graphics are not as good as ps3 and you get far less problems on ps3 than xbox 360 so I'd say ps3!

360 is better for gaming. much better joypad, better games, better graphics because it has a stronger graphics processor (GPU), better live. ps 3 is not bad either but the only true advantage it has is the blue ray ability. I have a 360 and I think after trying both, that it is the ultimate gaming system. go for 360.

this is such an easy question to answer. xbox is way better. you can chat, send voice and text messages, have up to 100 friends, and get achievements that increase your gamerscore, play games with friends, buy games on the marketplace, play music and dvds, and you can also do so much more on xbox.
