Xbox360 help!!

My xbox is acting up it had a red ring and ever since that day my game frezzes and my remote keeps saying to plug it in even it it is pluged

its pretty much dead now
once the red ring appears it will stop working
and theres nothing you can do to fix it
its happened to heaps of people who had to throw theres away once the red rings appear
all you can realy do is throw it out, recycle it or turn it into soemthing else I guess

the red ring of death is a system error, take it to the shop you bought it from and tell them the problem...

im not sure what causes it but I heard they had pulled all of the faulty systems...

whoever threw out their xbox 360's just because of the RRoD must have been an idiot
Microsoft guarantees repair of the problem, please read up before you tell people to throw out their money ^_^

well I was told by quite a few poeple that once the red ring appears its pretty much broken
and that microsoft wasnt doing much about it
at least untill now

Microsoft guarantee it for about 3 years from the day you bought it I think and should repair it for free

Good old red ring of death... Should of bought a Playstation 3

But yeah, take it back to where you purchased it from and they should help you with the problem, they may send it away for you to be repaired . Otherwise call the Microsoft support line and deal with them directly, they'll help you further and most likely give you an address to send your 360 to get it repaired.

or you can take ir back to the store you bought it from if you got the warrenty

okai I got the same problem your gonna have to send it back or buy a new one?
I no a method on how to fix it but this could last up 2.. a few days,months,hours,mins
okai lets get started...
your gonna need 3 towels okai take your hard drive off and all the plugs on the back off the xbox apart from the power one! turn your xbox on and wrap your 360 in the 3 towels one after another! leave it for 20mins once 20mins is up unwrap the towels carefully! now your gonna want to put the tv cabel fing in the bk off the xbox then turn it off! leave for another 2mins to call down then after that it shoud work! it honstly works! hope I could help. and if it does help send me a msg thx.
