Should I be punk or preppy?

Punk or preppy? Im stuck between...

Punk is not an opinion of the Government! It has nothing to do with the government, Im a punk, and I say that you should choose what you want to be, and Labels are normal, Dont be taken in by these people who say you shouldnt be a label, Because no matter how you dress, or what you do, you will have a label... well, Im a punk, And punks and preppys are TOTALLY different, but to be a punk you need to know How to be one, what music to listen to, If your ganna be New school or old school, and you need to Dress right, and you need to know the RIGHT bands, Not poser bands like avril lavigne and MCR or crap like that... But choose what you want

both. If you like both, create your own style. You are your own person, so show your individuality

haha I just do whatever I want. I switch all the time! I have tons of the preppy (hollister, ae, aero) clothes but I have all my skater clothes and gangsta flat brimmed hats that I couldn't live without too. It just depends on my mood really haha. But when it comes to girls, I love the cute little preps and my girlfriend loves shopping at charlotte russe. those clothes/shoes/jewelry look way classy/cute/hot/sexy whatever you're looking for.. Tight jeans are cute/hot (whichever makes me seem less shallow :P) just stay away from those skater jeans that look spray painted on all the way down to the ankles. Those are nasty. You can't lose with cute little skirts, just be creative and match haha I hope this helps

look if your going to purposely try to be 'punk' your going to get crap from a a lot of punks and youll probly end up looking more like an emo than a punk so just dress in what you like, whats comfortable, and whats logical. By logical I mean dont wear a mini skirt when its like 30 degrees outside, I see girls who do that all the time and its just stupid

As most people have said, mix them up to where you're comfortable. And if someone pressures you to push more towards one then the other, then it just means that you should be proud that they notice your not trying to be like everyone else and sticking to what you like.

I think the second you label yourself, your in hot water. Make your own style like the others above me have said. If you really like these two styles you've mentioned, create your own. I think it would look fresh and new!

Punk is an opinion on the government, like democratic and rebulican and green party. if you believe in anarchy and that the government revolves around war and money. you can dress in american eagle and abercrombie and be punk. punk as in fassion is all posers. they get glass bottles smached off there heads and get trashed by people who are or think they are punk. it is all really stupid. we need a government to be organized, but people are the rotton type and can't balance life at any angle. Humans are Ridiculous and hard to follow. go for animals. You are a waste of sperm and egg for think of both as a fashion, and to think like that. its humans like you that make me want to kick babies.

I'd pick punk over preppy because I base it on the type of music I listen to. everyone calls me something differet; emo, hippie, scene, punk, goth, and prep. but only the last one cause everyone knows it pisses me off. and I'd pick it because punk has individuality. preps...are lame. no originality whatsoever. it kind of scares me that someones asking the question punk or prep..so maybe you should be a prep. don't try to be something your not though. but a punk wouldn't ask this question. well either way, whatever you decide to be [??], just don't listen to AVRIL LAVIGNE anyways, she sucks ace and is the best example of a poser. DON'T BE LIKE HER! or the jonas brothers, just because they're the ugliest pieces of crap on the face of this planet :D
