Writer's block

Nice view Asked by bgb2832 11 months ago, 4 answers.

What's your way of overcoming writer's block? Have good ideas for a story and don't know how to begin and I am having trouble with creativity. Normally, I'm not like this.

It really doesnt matter from where you start. If you have a scene in mind write it down, as time goes you'll have ideas and more scenes keep writing them your story will start getting in flow. Then when you have a good idea how your story is going think of the beginnin.. itll come easily. About creativity put more of urself in it. read books you can relate your story to to get ideas. and relax... try to imagine the scene and write down da details of what you saw... it really helps. have fun writin!!!

I like to go to the mall and coffee shops, Look at people and listen to their converstaions. Go for walks and describe the feel of the weather and the smell that is in the air. For me it is about keeping all my senses open.

It always helped me to write out a favorite, already written, story, article or passage from a novel.

I don't know why, but it works like a charm. Maybe it's my mind being stimulated by the simple fact that I'm thinking about interesting content and writing it at the same time... whatever the reason it works for me, I'd suggest you try it yourself.
