My mom said i am a mistake

okay. well my madre has offically crossed the line, its okay once in a while to tell the truth straight. I know im not a good daughter, sister, or even a person over all. but when it comes to me and my friends I think im pretty good. I try to fight back...

all tears from depression and shyt, but I don't know now things are getting harder. my moms saying that I was a mistake and that I am screwed up. so yeah I've been to a phyc ward, I cutt, I smoke, I drink, and I cant help it, so if thta makes me a mistake then what im I to do

you arent to do anything
you werent a mistake your mom just has nothing better to do
so your depressed I've been in the same situation and it seems to this day I cant get over who I used to be but no matter what things will get better
they will always get better

your mom is a biitch and obviously has many issues she has never learned to deal with. Forget about her and start living life for YOU and no one else. Don't listen to her, mistake or not does it really matter? You are here now and I am sure one of the best mistakes ever!!

First of all my heart goes out to you and if I could I'd hug ya.

Your mother is what they call Toxic there is a book out there called Toxic Parents and its about parents that destroy their children and give them a complex... which is what your mother has done to you.

No parent should ever tell their child they were a mistake. That is absurd, cruel, and in my opinion just disgusting behavior. You can help the smoking and the drinking - but I'm sure with depression and being a teenager - that seems to be the only available option to cope with your feelings.

Have you sought out a councelor at school? I would advise you do so and relay to them just what you are going through. You aren't a mistake, and you aren't screwed up. The way your mother treats you is screwed up.

If she can't handle you - then she should have allowed another family to raise you from birth. Obviously she didn't so perhaps she's taking what she feels she is, and pushing it on to you.

Is this right? No. But I can't help but wonder if she knows that she screwed up and made mistakes and its easier to belittle you than look herself in the mirror and admit she needs to correct her actions asap.

Is there a family member such as your grandma or aunt that you could stay with instead?
