dude if you eat just an apple every 3 days thats starving urself and when you start to eat reg you would just gain weight you need to find something more heathy for urself.
Change that to eating an apple every mid-day, a bowl of cereal in the morning, a sandwich (or a bowl of soup) with water or fruit juice, and a modest evening meal including 2 servings of veggies (no butter) and you will lose weight.
And you can maintain this much easier that your diet.
