Would you buy something like this?

Getting ready for the party Asked by melissab about 1 year ago, 6 answers.

I am starting to get more into my crafts/hobbies and I wanted to know this community's opinion of it. The picture is of cross stitching that I am doing. Right now I am not working on individual pieces, but one big piece with many sayings on it as a...

portfolio piece to show what direction I am going.

Would you buy something like this? Do you think it is clever or lame?

I could very well lead to bigger and better things - putting names on handbags, caps, other items, etc - maybe branch off in designing - I think you should pursue and see where it leads - very talented, you never know !!

I would not buy it, I think you have talent but it is not Original. I saw all of these sayings alreay on biker helmet stickers. Plus I think you should do somthing that when someone reads it you may make an impact on there life or aleast a thought.
This just is taken as, this person is rude, in a bad mood, or never has fun. It is not me saying this, I just know that percepction of other people is never going to go away. And this would not be perceived by others as a postive or adult thing to wear, or buy. Jusy my opinion, no reason to get mad or upset,

Well, that is where I got the idea. I love to collect subversive bumper stickers and sayings. I also saw someone on Etsy creating things like this and I thought 'Wow I could do that, and I love it!'

I know most people don't like things like this, but I do, and like one I am working on now 'Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult' describes this work perfectly.

yea it always surprises me when I rub elbows with VIP or at work at the vet hospital. or any nice function. I carry myself well, What I am tring to say, as soon as some people see all my tattoos they find it hard to beleive I am smart, hot, good job, know important people. I have leaned to let them see me first, then later down the road after they know me, then I don't care if they see my tat;s. If I showed them first, they would never see me. I know it is my body and all that be yourself bu**sh*t, but really in the career field, you have to give people what they want first, then they except the rest. This will never change. some jobs will always stay as a clean business eviorment
