Dear criss,
An affair expresses the unhappiness a person is having in their relationship. They are afraid to give up the familiar and perhaps the security of their committed partner. Of course this is being very shortsighted since an affair will more than likely end with a separation of what they were afraid of loosing in the first place. People have many thoughts about many things but this is the first sign that there is a problem and should be addressed by a counsellor. Affairs are never the answer to an already unhappy situation.
