How can I get him to stop playing world of warcraft?

so my boyfriend plays this stupid game world of warcraft for HOURS at a time.. he pays attention to me but then when I get ready to leave he gets all mad. I dont want to sit here for HOURS and watch yes its ok and someone fun to spend time with him even if its on the game for an hr or 2 but comon 6 plus hours.. what do I do?

You should show him that there's more fun stuff to do in real life. What is WoW going to bring him ? He has a girl that's all he has to care about not some stupid online playing game. Talk to him about it and tell him it just isn't right to play so much on the PC especially when you're with him. If you two guys go out often he'll probably forget about the game; + there are other ways you can spend 15$ a month (WoW tax).

My friend, I used to play WoW, BIGGEST WASTE OF MY LIFE EVER. I COMPLETELY regret playing it. It's a waste of life, and frankly the way I have convinced people to quit (friends I met playing the game) was just telling them how much fun I've had doing other stuff that I wouldn't be able to do if I were worked up playing the game, convince him to go somewhere, like a party or somethin and try to have as much fun as possible to make him second thought playing the game, and keep tossing out offers to go places other than his house where he can play the game. And reading the person who answered before me, the worst was the $15 a month, that's ridiculous, try to convince him that although he may be getting somewhere in the game by playing it 6 hours a day he's not advancing with your relationship by shifting his attention towards it to ignore you. Hope I didn't sound like an as*h*le or like I was really trying to get at yer boyfriend =) oh and thanks for the help on my question a couple days ago =P

just seduce him to the point where he wants you more and the game less..but to loose the lust of the game..the only way..is to beat it..then it gets boring

Ask him really nicely. Say, Baby I need attention. If he lays you off, dump him.

Can I ask...do you find any enjoyment in playing the game yourself? Have you tried to play it? While he is also playing?

But on the other note..It is a game..it will always be there...until gets boring to him...
just make sure to note that it is a game. And you might not always be there..so what is more important?
