Work tomorrow!?

hey Asked by beccaj about 1 month ago, 2 answers.

ok so im 15 and I recently got a job at a laser tag place (like about a month and a half ago), and I've worked at least 6 times (once a week), but I still get nervous every time I go to work. I hate being so nervous all the time, and I dont completely...

understand why im still nervous. do you know when I might get more comfortable and why I sitll get so nervous?

p.s. I think one reason I might be so nervous is because we do kids' parties there and after a few times working you eventually work the parties by yourself and I dont feel ready for that and am worried that every time I go to work, that will be the day they make me do parties by myself

Okkay
So perhaps you could tell your boss that
That you need more time with some help with a co worker or whatevss

no harm in speaking up
everyone gets nervous with a job
I know I did
but I got help from my co workers
and made my life hella easier (:

well for a start if the childrens partys hold more then six kids I think then you NEED to have another member of staff just as its the law, I think. plus your still young and children can be a pain in the arse.
and if you are by yourself and the children are abit out of control just remember to smile, praise (for good behviour) and play with them.
you will need to speak to your boss tho, because if they do get out of control and your the only 'adult' in the room your going to be in trouble
