Women having orgasms while giving birth...

Ok so I have seen this on a couple of things about women having orgasms while they are giving birth and for some reason I just think its gross I mean when you think of orgasms you think sex and when my son grow up I dont want to look at him and say...

instead of being in pain I had an orgasm just seems nasty to me what do yu think...

Seen it on a couple of things isn't exactly a reliable source... and I have never heard of this , even talking to midwives and attending the birth of two children...HOWEVER... women giving birth, and women having an orgasm sound VERY similar if one can distinguish at all..

better that then screaming because of pain!

I've had 3 children and I have serious doubts that you would even be able to feel an orgasm (if you had one) through the incredible pain you're in at the time.

Yes...however, the pressure and pain far outweighs the pleasure at that moment.

I saw a report on 20/20 Friday night about this. There was a woman who gave birth...naturally...in a bathtub and actually had an orgasm. Since it was actually on 20/20 instead of some other show I am actually inclined to believe that it can happen, however I have 3 kids, my labor was natural with them all and there is no way in the world that I could ever imagine getting pleasure from giving birth.

MOST women do not experience that at all. I know when I gave birth the feeling was anything but pleasurable. I'm sure in some rare cases (like 1 in a million) there will be a woman whose body functions differently and hse might have an orgasm, but for the most part - no that's not true.

I agree with mandyloo, theres high chance that you wont have one, I dont have kids, but all the others I know that had kids has never experienced having an orgasm. I know some that didnt have no pain, but they didnt have an orgasm either, they felt the baby, but it wasn painful. im not sayin a woman cant have one, but it doesn happen often and more likely none of us (the ones who answered and you) wont have an orgasm when we give birth. (if we do)

I have 2kids believe me when I say (hell no I didnt fell anything as fun as an orgasm) what I felt is total PAIN.She must one lucky lady.
