According to my friend, it hurts more after the anesthetic wears off. But, if you ask me, it hurts more when they're growing through. about every 3 months I get nasty pains in my jaw as my wisdom teeth spout up another millimetre or so. And that's been happening for about 4 years now.

Depends on the person that takes your teeth out. Mine did an amazing job! No pain whatsoever, except when eating. My advice is take the prescribed pain killers before the anesthesia wears off, and keep taking them however often it's advised. It's a lot better to prevent it than to try and get rid of it once it starts...

It doesn't hurt when you have the numbing meds. But once it wears off...oh gosh it hurts. I couldn't eat for like a week. But it really depends on your tolerance for pain too.

There was no pain during the surgery and I had it easy afterward. They give you some good pain meds to help.
