Asked by cutecutiepie about 1 month ago, 1 answer.

I have a windows xp with internet on with a wireless connection, and my brother recently gave me an imac os-9.2. I have a modem that works with macs and xp, I want to know how can I set up a connection between the two if possible through an ethernet port...

if possible? (sorry for typos)

You shouldn't need the modem. Both systems should have an ethernet port. Your wireless router likely has 4 ports. Connect the Mac with cable to the router, the PC wirelessly, share appropriately and the two should recognize each other. There will be tweaking to do, but the setup should work. Have fun!
