Windows xp

Asked by mjenkins about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

My friend had been making some repairs on my computer and, while re-installing the windows, mistakenly used her CD for Windows XP Professional rather than the Windows XP which came with my computer. The first I knew of this was when contacted by...

Microsoft. I have tried several times to re-install the XP, but each time I am refused entry to submit this, and being offered a genuine update. What can I do to correct this error?

it sounds like you need to start all over again use DB's hard drive nuke to clear every thing off your hard drive and then start all over again with a genuine coppie of windows I would recommended buying a new copie of it and not using recovery disks it will be better and have less of the stuff you don't need and then you will always have a good copie of it around
