Windows updates

My new haircut 8-27-2009 Asked by 91jchevy87ec about 1 month ago, 3 answers.

Is there a way I can turn them off if they're already loading? I want to use the internet without any issues. I have some loading right now, and its slowing my internet down bigtime and I just want to chat with people.
Any help would be appreciated....

Thanks.

hey Eric, how you doin?, look if you are using windows XP, it is very easy to stop them, just go to start menu , control panel , security center , (another window will show up) and go to automatic updates(down) click on it and configure it. if you have vista. try the same step, but vista is some how complex so becareful.
