Windows movie maker 2.6

I downloaded the newest version of Windows Movie Maker, and it will NOT let me upload videos. It brings up a message saying that the codec required could not be found or something to that effect.. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this...

problem. Also, I have tried downloading this codec (which I have no idea what that even is) but I'm obviously not doing something right. help please! happy

If you didn't already try this...

Tools — Options — General — click Download codecs automatically — OK

This may or may not work, but some people have found this to help.
