Can I buy discs to put it on my computer at Walmart or something? Or is it too new?

As long as the disks are compatible (or backwards compatible) with your computer they will work.

If you are asking about a game, you will have to look at the 'System Requirements', and I would recommend looking for the RECOMENDED System Requirements for better game enjoyment.
