Will you please stop posting multiple questions that are the same?

Asked by fau 5 months ago, 14 answers.

I'm positive I'm not the only one who has been noticing this but people have been posting the same question over and over again. I'm sure this isn't anything new but its just starting to frustrate me now.
To the people doing it... its not going to get you more answers by posting it over and over again. You will just get people mad, so be patient please and thank you. I know this isn't a question... just a request for those who insist one posting a question over and over again.
Thanks.

I just posted a question twice once yesterday, once just now. I put it in a diff catagory though. Big Deal, lets freak out about it! Its kinda sad that you sit at home on the computer enough for it to annoy you. Dahling, people have problems sometimes you have to sit back and relize that their just seeking more advice and wish for other opinions.

Who's freaking out about it?
Its kind of sad that you read my post and complain about it like a little school girl. Uh, yeah its going to be annoying reading the same question from the same user again and again. Like if you enjoy giving the same advice to the same user 50 million times in a row, the power to ya... have fun with that.

I agree with stephanie people are just being plan silly. If they don't ask something silly they ask a good question 900 times, its like okay...What more do you want someone to tell you. If you have to ask that many times for advice, you really must not take the advice you are getting the first time.

People complaining in forums that don't have anything to do with the topic is annoying too. :3
You're no better.

I posted a question twice yesterday bc first off, Im new on this and when I asked a question it dissapeared ( didn't know where it went) so I did it again in another catogory, so maybe new people like me don't know whats going on and really wanted advice. I feel if its annoying, just dont read it and reply, big deal.

Hi Shellya-

If it disappeared, then we'll notify you by fun mail. If it broke the rules, (which everybody agrees to when they sign up) then perhaps you should re-read them. Every site online that allows people to register has a 'terms of use' you agree to. However, I believe most people never read them

pattijo, that's a great idea the 'mark as duplicate' feature. I'll add that to our backlog of things we need to do.

Thanks thedude, bc I really didn't know what happened, and I can feel why people would ask a question twice when their new, sorry if I annoyed anyone.
