I've started to run 20 minutes every day...going about 2 miles each time...will this help me lose weight? It says I only burn like 200 calories every time I do it but will I start to lose a little weight? And how quickly will I see results?
Yes, you will lose weight as long as you don't start eating more.
20 minutes is about 200 calories for most people, but ... it's really more than that, because it builds muscle (which burns calories at a higher rate), and increases metabolism. The real long term effect is probably twice the immediate effect if you keep up with it.
you need cardio workout..if your sweating and your heart is pounding your getting a good workout.
mountain bike riding, or netball are great sports to take up.
I find roller blading or body surfing to be the best exercise if you reach your deserved weight and want to maintain it.
Probably help you lose lots of weight, especially if you eat sensibly, but make sure you eat enough because runing requires a lot of energy
