Will shaving encourage surrounding hair growth?

I have never shaved my entire pubic area, I have always left the out line eg bikini line becouse am afraid the hair will start to grow out more down my thhighs and surrounding area, can soneone please tell me will shaving incourage more hair growth around the surrounding area. I have nevr shaver near the bikini line but I've noticed the hair growth is still spreding, im worried can someone please advice me on what to do.

shavinig will make it grow thicker and faster so my adivce is wax in sted of shave down their then you dant have to do it as often

it will not spread buut it will grow thicker where you shave it

'overit' is right.
When you shave, it usually doesn't encourage other hair around it to start growing. Just watch out where you are shaving and do it slowly, take your time. And you wont have any problems. I think your should go through with it. Waxing is always an option, but that doesn't sound like it would feel very nice. I think you should just shave it, be sure to use lots and lots of shaving cream to avoid cuts.
