The weight of the pasta will definitely increase after it's absorbed water when being cooked.
What I'm thinking you meant, though, was whether or not you will gain weight from eating pasta. Pasta contains lots of good carbohydrates, which is awesome for energy. If you eat a ton of pasta and just sit around, depending on how your metabolism is, you'll probably gain weight - carbs are, after all, sugar (after your body breaks them down).
