Will my blackberry still work if I dropped it in a hottub?

okay usually I'm not this stupid but I was under the influence of alcohal last night haha yeah well anyways we all went into the hot tub and I forgot my blackberry was in my bra and it went under water for about five to ten seconds. I let it dry off on the table and this morning when I put the battery back in my phone light was on but the screen was not working. Any advice?

You're screwed.

Dropping it in water voids the warranty (yes, they can tell), and it'll probably never work right again.

Time to go phone shopping...

make sure you dry it out the best you can...so it doent look like it was dropped in the water. hopefully you have insurance on it...if not nothing you can do but get a new one.
take it to where ever you take it and tell them it broke but dont mention it was dropped in water...yea I don't know best advice I can give.

Once they open it, they'll know. No use in lying, or avoiding the truth. Mine got wet one time though, and it needed about a week to dry it and it worked.

Make sure it is really really dried out before writing it off as being totally broken. Stick it somewhere warm, like a Hot Water Cupboard for a few days, then try again. Sometimes electronics are like that - here's hoping that turning it on when you did didn't damage it, and that it just needs drying out more.

My old cell phone went through the wash.
I had forgot it in my pants pocket.
I let it dry for a few days and it worked just the same.

I got a new cell phone for Christmas though.
