I think Barack Obama is a pretty good choice for president. My first choice is still Dennis Kucinich but Kucinich is probably unelectable. Obama is probably the best candidate that has a chance of being elected.

I don't think he'll get elected. The US is still too much of a racist nation (and it's really sad). I don't know who I will vote for but so far the Democrats aren't showing very good candidates... and neither are the Republicans. (I won't vote for Hilary but if CondoLeeza Rice ran, I'd vote for her. She's an amazing woman)

Its not always that its rasicim that only white males have been president. Sometiems you got to pick who you think is the best. I no if it came down to it if there was a white male who was evry good choice then there was some crazy person of another race. Im not going to vote for the non cacasion jsut because of his skin color.

Just like in BC they say they wont be hiring white amles as fire gihters because there has been sexual harrasment cases from the fire fighters whow ere woman. A black man or a chinese man are jsut as likely as being the same

It is unfortunate to see some Americans want to choose their candidate base on skin color because they feel sympathy for it! Choosing a president is a serious matter that would affect all the American’s life; even sometimes goes beyond us and reaches much further. Iraq is one of the current proves (George B’s job is a clear example that we must learn and not to repeat the same mistake this time with the other party ).
The Question is,” do we really need someone that his actions are totally opposite of his words?”
Barak Hussin Obama is just a smiley face with fantasy words and empty promises for U.S citizens, but all his acts are just protecting special interest groups, corporations, and corrupted lobbies.
Obama has not done any good for his stat of Illinois, besides showing his mile, and now running for presidency? Mr. Obama Americans are smarter than you think, and they deserve a better chance than lies!

On the democratic ticket I feel John Edwards is the best choice for President but probably won't win the nomination. I also think Barack is an excellent choice for President. He is a strong voice for change, well-educated, well-spoken, has great ideas and conveys the charm and diplomacy to unify the nation. I hope Barack is the next President of the US, not because he is of African descent or for any other arbitrary, immutable reason -- but because he is one of the most qualified candidates and has some of the most sound ideas for turning this country around after 8 years of poor, abusive mismanagement of the nation by Bush.
