Wifi,open network, and trouble

OK, I have an Itouch. Well, I was wondering if its illegal to use another'sOpen network wi-fi in the neighborhood.. And if any of you have done so. Thanks.

no you wont get in trouble by using another persons network I mean if yo hacked into it and were causing some damage to there computer it would be a lot of trouble for you but its not illegal to use open or unsecure networks

I have an Itouch, and I do it when ever I got over to my friends house. and use mine at my house, so I'm very sure you wont get in trouble for it (:
