Can wiccans really cast spells??

uh no...

they can sure try! doesn't mean it's going to work..LOL

they can cast whatever they want...but yeah...not going to work.

Yes they do cast spells. They believe to be intune with nature, loving giah and all that jaz. I, personally, don't believe it.

Like I've said before, to answer a question like this, you have to understand what magick is, and what it isn't.

Contrary to what you may have been told, Wiccans believe in the sanctity of life. We don't sacrifice things for any reason. We do not worship the Christian Satan, nor do we revere any similar figure; most do not even recognize the existance of some kind of demonic figure. we do not cast spells to befall others. We believe that causing evil will bring evil back to the one who causes it. Our religion is based on Nature, (Gaia or Gaea, not Giah) and is founded on the belief that the whole world is interrelated. This means that everyone is responsible for their own actions, and that peace, love and tolerance for everyone should be encouraged everywhere.

To be honest with you, spells are nothing more than prayers to the God and Goddess, our Divine figures. We believe that as witches, we have the power to change the world around us with a little divine intervention.

No, that doesn't mean we can shoot pretty lights out of the tips of our wands, but it does mean that we can try to change our lives for the better.

So, can we cast spells, yes. Yes, we can have our own form of prayer, just like any other religion in the world, And yes, my prayers have been answered several times before.

Yes we can,
if you look in the string theory everything vibrates,
it's basically learning how to attune yourself to those vibrations learning how to harness energy.
