Why won't my computer show any backgrounds on any websites?

Ok I bought my computer pretty new and am very pleased with its performance. My only problem is that it does not show any backgrounds , lay outs, etc on any page I may visit . Even this page I get pictures, letters links and all but no backgronds? All...

it shows is white!

Please enlighten me on my problem!!

you might have everything blocked due to high security. just so you know, the background on this page is white. they almost always have tech support at the computer manufacturer's website on how to deal with problems that might arise with your computer.
