If all public schools were excellent, maybe they would have a point. But I'm guessing that they aren't... So people should be free to choose an alternative, which includes homeschooling.

Home Education has always been very strict in Cali. but elemenating it all togather? that souns dumb. I was homeschooled in Indiana and there aren't any regulations except to go to school for 180 days... hehe I went to school everyday the whole year except Saturday and Sunday, and got a much better education than almost all of my peers. So home education can be a very good thing it just depends on the parents really. It's sad to hear about the situation in cali tho.
