Why so offended

I noticed people on here get really offended if they hear something they dont agree with, why is that? Isnt this site called FUNADVICE, so shouldnt it be fun?

Yes, it should, but there are some issues that people feel very strongly about.

People have a right to defend their beliefs or their opinions.

Advice that is fun...? I don't understand. This confusion greatly offends me.

depends on how the question is answered... if answer construct/delivery is fun, then it'll be fun... but if constructing answer the conceited/arrogant/acting-smart way, NO FUN at all... remember that we type in the answer, and not verbally.. and it might be taken differently by the other person than what you thought your answer was... so, be careful, too.. Ü smile!
