Why sex so young?

This may sound stupid but it is an honest question. Why are all of you young teens having sex? I know times are changing but why so soon? What is the rush? In my opinion its not even that great, was not worth it for me to lose my virginity at 18? So why...

so young? I wont judge, I am just curious. And if you dont mind, tell me how young you were. I am really baffled.

Us teens get pressured..we also tend to think we are in love, so because we found thatt person..we want to do it. and since masterbation feels good we think sex is too...and maybe even cuzz when teens watch porn they want to be there like the pornstars...and then it doesnt help that are favorite singers sing about sex...and actors dress like sl0ts

(im 18) When I was in high everyone I knew was having sex and blah bllah blah you know. When I dated someone they wanted me to have sex right off and I said no. Then I got with this guy and before we got really serious he said we can wait until marriage we go together when I was 16 and I decided I wanted to have sex with him because he was really committed to me unlike those boys before. I lost mine... no I gave him mine when I was 17 and he gave me his when he was 19 yeah sorry it so long but I just wanted to tell it =)

I think media has a lot to do with it
and role models who they look upto having sex young or putting out a promiscuous image.
I mean look at miley cyrus
that girl isnt putting out a good image
look at most hip-hop/pop music videos, theyre full of half naked women or women dressed in revealing clothes, and their lyrics are explicit
look at soap operas and dramas that come on tv, showing teens around the ages of 14 and 15 wanting and having sex with their boyfriends/girlfriends, the urge to lose their virginity becuase the idea of virgins being uncool
I could go on, but in my opinion, media is to blame for ruining young minds

It slightly annoys me really because theyr are still kids if they are in school yet they want to act like adults and the only way they can think of doing that is to have sex. Its something that should be done at te right moment with someone you care about, not just for the sake of being cool. im 18 aswell btw

I just asked a question on who didnt like Miley cirus all that crap gos to those lil kids tweens heads and they think they are old enough to wear skippy clothes! It made me aggravated when I was in school and a lot of people thalked about having sex and how I should do it and everything. yeah I joked about sex but I didnt go and do everything that walked, I mean serously! my friends because talked to me on time I think I was 10th or 11th grader or somethin and he was in ELEMENtERY SCHOOL 5th GRADE asking me to have sex with him and he cussed and stuff tellin me nasty...ugh... omg I about cussed him ouT! its sick!!! I just want all the kids out there to know its ok to wait, I dont blame any one person, yes the media does have a lot to do with it but the media is not forcing it on kids. Its peer pressure and I just wish they would stand up for themselves and realize its ok to say no. And if someone does not like you for it oh well!
