Why do people want to hack myspace accounts?

Here and many other places I have seen people are asking questions to know how to hack some one's myspace account. I do not understand the interested behind of this hacking funda. Is it for fun or any real cause is there behind this. Can any body explain me what is myspace and why the generation want to hack this thing?

They want to hack to check up on their cheating partners. Or to get back at someone by posting false information.

For my viewpoint, myspace is generally for narcissistic teens who want to feel important by having a webpage all about themselves... only they don't have the know-how to code up the page themselves, so they use the kitset format that myspace offers.

Usually the people who want to 'hack' myspace have no idea what hacking actually is. I find most of them just want to sign in as an enemy/ex/someone they generally don't like, with the sole intent of pretending to be them, and trying to get them into trouble.

I tend to ignore 'How to hack myspace' questions, or post that it's illegal and proceed to lock the thread.

Dont get me wrong, you could find hundreds of teens like that on there, but for the teens and other people who arent stupid and stuck up (haha) they use it to keep in touch with friends and family, they use it to share pictures with them and all the other stuff myspace has to offer... It's just myspace has gotten a bad name because of the trillions of teens misusing it and getting themselves in dangerous situations.
So yea, I think it's a great site, but people have no clue how to stay safe on there, even though it's sooo simple, you know? Myspace is what you make it.
