It could be a whole bunch of different things. Are you eating and/or what are you eating? It could be a post nasal drip thats making your mouth smell bad. Are you flossing enough? Look up in google halitosis and it should help you out.

You could have a tooth cavity (tooth decay) or food is stuck at the very back of your mouth. So when brushing your teeth make sure you get all of your teeth especially the ones at the back because food likes to get stuck there. That could be a reason for the odour.

Remember to brush after every meal (your tongue included as it traps many germs and bacteria from all the different foods that we eat through out the day). Brushing after every meal is kinda hard to do but worth it in the end), also remember to floss and use mouthwash.

I would also suggest that you visit a dentist as he may be able to give you a better diagnosis...

as well as what your already doing you need to FLOSS!!!
and some things can make youe mouth smell
also I think you need to clean your tounge
a lot of people dont but its actually the reason why most peoples mouths smell
it shouls be a light pink colour
if yours is yellow or a bit furry then its time to clean it!
you can do that by just brushing it with a toothbrush

Hey. .I think you should have a visit to your local doctors you already may have by now, as I have had the same condition for couple of weeks now. I actually don’t know what caused this bad breath, it may have been my bad eating habits as they have changed continuously and I have recognised the small increasing as the day goes by, hope this may have helped you..:D (xMahiex)

Could also be from bacteria in sinus cavities. I use a Neti Pot every day to irrigate my sinuses, and it eliminated my bad breath. Get your teeth checked too, floss and brush teeth and tongue daily, and avoid eating garlic.

Just oral hygiene cannot get rid of bad breath. The causes are too numerous to list. Any mouth wash/toothpaste would only mask your bad breath, and that too for a short time. If one has a cold or lung infection or diabetes or TB, or drinks any alcohol product, or has constipation or incomplete evacuation of the bowels, or fasts or overeats or has indigestion or has gas in the stomach, then these also cause bad breath. You have to analyze which amongst these (this list is only illustrative) is your problem. The solution for each cause is different.
