Maybe it is because our answers may not apply or the questions from each country differ.
There has to be a common bond or link that will merge all of us.
Exp: If a question is asked about Obama and Hillary. No one but the people in the US care really about which one of these wins.
Another expample is American Idol, well the same applies here each country has their own version of this show and we don't see theirs as they don't see our shows.
If we are talking pets or relationships there could be common links to discussion.
Anyway just my idea. Maybe that is why sites like eBay have divide up the areas and countries. Like you have Ebay Canada etc. I don't think this is just a shipping issue.
I once noticed when I had sold something to someone in France, we had communication issues. I thought the person was complaining and they were just asking a couple of questions, I had to remember that the communication in using different wording changed the way something that was being said sounded.
JMO
Over the last 30 days:
1.15 million visitors from the US
116K visitors from UK.
Personally, I believe a large part of it is the questions...we discuss a lot of american culture, politics, entertainment, etc.
Not as many UK celebrities in questions, which will end up skewing the bias towards US more...if we had more UK centric questions, then I think the UK centric audience would grow bigger
Of the three owners, only one is from the US though (me), one is from Jamaica, and one is from Maldives. And our employees are American (two) and Chinese (two)...so the staff is 3 out of six American in total.
Any ideas how we can get more British?
wow so many people come on here!
hmm I don't know how to gt more british people on here.
I found this site through google.
the problem I've found is that if you ask a question that needs to be answered by british people you don't always get an answer, cause there aren't enough british people here.
catch 22 I guess.
