Why is the time wrong on funadvice?

I just gave some one some advice and I've just realised that the time on funadvice says it's 12pm but it's not here in England it's 20:28pm. Can anyone explain why that is? Thanks.

It is like 2:35 pm where I live in Missouri . I have noticed that before, but I thought it was just on my computer.

At the bottom of your screen just before the footer, there's a bit that says "International: USA | UK | China | India"

select "UK" obv

The time shown is the time in California, which is the base of operations for thedude and some of the services that keep FunAdvice running (like the Ads by Google).
